INTERNATIONAL HX Recalls

Aug 06, 2026 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2027 HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH trucks. A retaining nut in the wiper assembly may loosen, causing both windshield wipers to disconnect from the motor.

Nov 25, 2025 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2016 7600, 2016-2023 Lonestar, 2018 8600, 2018-2023 LT, 2021-2026 MV, 2022-2023 RH, 2023-2026 HX, and 2025-2026 HV vehicles. Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop working.

Apr 24, 2025 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2025-2026 HV, HX, LT, MV, RH, and 2025 EMV vehicles. The linkage that connects the right-side wiper arm to the motor may separate, causing the wipers to fail.

Nov 21, 2024 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2022-2025 HX vehicles. The service brake may take longer than expected to release. As such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

Nov 04, 2024 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2024-2025 HX vehicles. An insufficient amount of lubricant in the front steer drive (FSD) axle hubs may result in damage to the wheel bearings.

Oct 31, 2024 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Lonestar, 2021-2025 RH, HV, MV, LT, HX, and 2022 PROSTAR vehicles, equipped with Bendix EC80 Advanced Electronic Control Units (ECU). Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop working.

Oct 01, 2024 – Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2025 International HX and International LT vehicles equipped with Cummins X15 diesel engines. The fuel pump barrels may fracture and cause a fuel leak, resulting in an engine stall.

Jul 25, 2024 – Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2025 International HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH vehicles. The tie rod assemblies may contain ball studs that have been incorrectly heat-treated, which can cause them to break, and possibly result in tie rod failure.

Feb 29, 2024 – Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2025 International HV, HX, LT, and MV vehicles. The steering gear sector shaft may have been improperly heat-treated, which can cause the gear teeth to crack or fracture.

Feb 08, 2024 – Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2024 International HX, LT, RH and 2024-2025 International HV, MV trucks and 2024 IC Bus CE commercial buses. The steering gear assemblies may have been assembled incorrectly with fewer recirculating balls than are required, which may result in a loss of steering control.
