STARCRAFT BUS Recalls

May 28, 2026 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2026 Glaval Titan II, Primetime, Entourage, Concorde II, Commute, Forest River Bus Eldorado, Champion Bus, Starcraft Starlite, Allstar XL, 2026-2027 Glaval Universal, Starcraft Allstar, Startrans Candidate II, and 2025-2027 Forest River Bus Senator II, equipped with certain QRT-3 wheelchair retractors. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Jan 22, 2025 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Starcraft Starlite and 2023 Allstar transit buses. The emergency exit handles and labels are not easily accessible which can prevent or delay the exit of passengers in the event of an emergency. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."

Jul 02, 2024 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Starcraft Starlite transit buses. The emergency exit handles and labels are not easily accessible which can prevent or delay the exit of passengers in the event of an emergency. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."

Jun 12, 2024 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Starcraft Allstar MVP, 2016 and 2019 Allstar XL, 2016-2018 Allstar XL MVP, 2009-2010 and 2012-2018 Starcraft MFSAB/Prodigy, 2014-2016 Quest XL, 2013 and 2015-2018 Starcraft MPV/Prodigy, 2009-2010 Prodigy, 2009-2022 Quest, 2011 Quest XL school buses. The restraining barrier may not provide sufficient protection in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 222, "School Bus Passenger Seating and Crash Protection."

May 28, 2024 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River) is recalling certain 2010-2020 Starcraft Prodigy, Quest, and 2013 Rondak school buses. The exterior front roof panel was manufactured with inadequate joint strength. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 221, "School Bus Body Joint Strength."

Apr 05, 2024 – Forest River Bus, LLC. (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2018-2024 Starcraft Allstar, Senator II, 2022-2024 Starcraft Allstar MVP, Senator II MVP, Eldorado National Advantage, 2018 Starcraft Candidate II, 2023 Starcraft Starlite, 2023-2034 Champion Challenger, Elkhart Coach ELKC, and 2019-2024 Glaval Universal transit buses. Unsecured brake lines may be damaged by contact with the frame rail.

Oct 30, 2023 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Starcraft Allstar XL, 2022-2023 Allstar XLT, and 2022 Glaval Concorde II transit buses. The exterior-mounted air conditioning compressor may contact the optional stabilizer/sway bar, possibly causing mount failure and resulting in a loss of power or steering control.

Apr 07, 2023 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Starcraft Prodigy school buses. The interior panels on the ceiling may be improperly secured. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 221, "School bus body joint strength."

Jan 25, 2022 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021 Battisti Coach; Federal Coach-Spirit; StarCraft Quest XL; 2022 StarTrans P/S2; Elkhart Coach; Glaval Concord II, Legacy, Primetime; StarCraft Allstar MVP, Allstar XLT; Eldorado Advance; 2021-2022 Eldorado National(K-s)-Advantage; StarTrans Senator II, Senator II HD, Candidate II; StarCraft Starquest, Starlite; Glaval Commute, Entourage, Universal; Berkshire Coach Ultra; and 2021-2023 StarCraft Allstar and Allstar XL Transit Buses. The Programmable Relay Power Center (PRC) module can fail.

Oct 08, 2021 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2012-2016 Starcraft transit buses. The rear emergency exit window labels are not in the correct location and only provide instructions for one release mechanism, instead of two release mechanisms. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."
