SUZUKI Recalls

Dec 17, 2025 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2025-2026 DR-Z400S and 2025 DR-Z400SM motorcycles. The reservoir tank cap fixing screws may have been incorrectly tightened, allowing brake fluid to leak. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 122, “Motorcycle Brake Systems.”

Aug 07, 2025 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2020-2025 DL 1050 and 2020, 2024 GSX-1000S motorcycles. The upper headlight beam may be too bright and exceed the maximum light output, which may adversely affect the vision of the driver. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Dec 11, 2024 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Burgman 400 (AN400AM3-M5) scooters. The fuel supply hose assembly may contact the fuel vapor hose assembly, causing the fuel supply hose to become damaged and leak fuel.

Oct 16, 2024 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2022-2024 GSX1300R (Hayabusa) motorcycles. The master cylinder internal rubber components may swell due to contamination from the brake fluid cap diaphragm, which can result in a blocked brake fluid port. As such, these motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 122, "Motorcycle Brake Systems."

Jul 17, 2024 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2023-2024 DL800DE motorcycles. The rear tire may crack or deform, resulting in tire tread separation.

Feb 07, 2024 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2024 GSX-8R motorcycles. The drive chain may detach due to missing rivets, which can result in a loss of power to the rear wheels.

Jan 23, 2024 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2024 GSX1300R motorcycles. The brake fluid pipe flare nut for the brake fluid supply line may have been tightened incorrectly and cause a brake fluid leak.

Feb 15, 2023 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2022 GSX1300RRQ/ZM2 (Hayabusa) motorcycles. An incorrect position of the front brake master cylinder primary port could cause the port to become blocked, and result in a gap between the front brake pad and discs. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 122, "Motorcycle Brake Systems."

Jul 22, 2021 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Burgman 200 UH200 scooters. The fuel hose assembly may leak fuel.

Apr 28, 2021 – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2019-2020 UH200 motorcycles. The speedometer assembly resistors may corrode and cause a loss of power to the wheel speed sensor, preventing the speedometer and odometer from displaying information.
