UTILIMASTER VELOCITY Recalls

Jul 08, 2026 – Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2016, 2019, and 2021 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. Water may enter an improperly sealed strobe light and cause a short circuit.

May 05, 2026 – Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2025 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. The incorrect vehicle load value may be listed on the vehicle cargo carrying capacity label.

May 22, 2025 – Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. The vehicles may be missing the tire and information placard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

Jun 14, 2021 – Shyft Group is recalling certain 2021 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. The Tire and Loading Information placard incorrectly states a seating capacity of one, although the actual seating capacity is two. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

Feb 18, 2019 – Spartan Motors USA (Spartan) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Fleet Services Truck Body and Velocity vehicles. The affected vehicles are equipped with ASA Electronics monitors for displaying the backup camera images, model number VOM74MMx. The affected monitors may revert back to the factory default settings which may cause the camera image to be reversed.
