My 2023 Ford Escape (with fewer than 50,000 miles) began experiencing significant mechanical issues. I noticed exhaust fumes entering the cabin that passengers and I would inhale, loud noises from under the hood, and lose power during acceleration. After inspecting the vehicle, the dealership determined that the turbocharger wastegate/flapper valve had failed mechanically, causing the turbocharger to overboost and sustain internal damage. This failure led to numerous drivability issues, including hesitation, rough shifting, delayed upshifts, loud whining noises during cold starts, slipping during acceleration, and, at times, the inability to shift beyond second gear. Ultimately, the dealership concluded that the transmission needed to be rebuilt or replaced. My vehicle remained at the dealership from January 28, 2026, through May 14, 2026, over three and a half months. The vehicle still has transmission issues and loses power at times when driving on the highway commuting to work. At this moment of time, I scheduled it to go back to the dealership on July 9th.

Was going down the highway at 72mph speed limit was 80. I felt my truck shift weird from 8th to 9th. Then once it hit 10th gear I watched it go to 1st gear then felt like it entered neutral. Shortly after it went back to 10th. Shortly after behind me it was smoking and it poured fluid from the transmission.

When the brake is applied, the gas pedal accelerates. It has happened 2 times and I could have went through a stop sign or traffic light. The tool light came on but went off. This has happened a few times starting in April.

Transmission (10r80) shifted rough, leading to no 1-4th gear and no 10th gear or reverse. Had to do a rebuild of the transmission @80k miles and it still shifts ruff/clunking into gears

When are the parts available for back up camera and block heater I don’t want my car to start on fire so I want it fixed

I have a 2019 Ford edge my transmission began to shutter when I hit 60,000 miles. I researched it further and I see there’s a class action lawsuit regarding the transmission issues with the 2019 Edge I called for they told me there was no recalls on this vehicle for the transmission issues and that my powertrain warranty has expired and it’s nothing that they could do For it was very aware that there were something wrong with the transmissions that they put in these cars and everyone is saying when you get to 60,000 miles, your transmission starts to have issues it will cost me $5000 to $7000 to try to repair this transmission which will go out I’m told than a year.

Total engine failure due to coolant leaking into it. 2023 investigation on this same situation, whats the outcome

The airbags light appears on the dashboard always ON, without going off for many months and also the engine light is always showing up on the dashboard without turning off for more than 2 years.

Prior to this, my had no issues and I had been driving it all day. When coming home from some errands, the engine light suddenly came on and and then my car began shutting off on the highway. We were in the middle lane with cars going 70 miles a hour with no power in our own car, putting us in extreme danger. We were able to get it to the side of the highway and go through a series of starting it, having it run for a mile or so, and then having the engine shut down again. We were able to get it to a Ford dealership and it was inspected. Our garage immediately knew to look at the coolant cylinder to see if it was cracked and leaking as they have seen this issue multiple times. It was, in fact, cracked and coolant was leaking into our engine. Both a Ford representative and the dealership confirmed this is an issue with multiple of these engines but no recall has been enacted. They suggested we write a complaint to the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration.

Oil pump failure because of Ford recall on broken oil pump belt- driving down the interstate with no place to pull over about getting ran over by semi bc the car suddenly stopped with any warning or anything. Ford won’t even look at my vehicle because over 60,000 miles warranty with vehicle have 66,000 miles on it I purchased the car brand new with 25 miles on it .. only way ford or a dealership said they would even look at it is if I’m willing to pay a 100% out of pocket til then they refuse to do absolutely anything
