2023 AUDI A5- Youngwood, PA
The front tires were worn to interior cording. It was an uneven tire wear that resulted in an alignment. After getting the alignment checked, there was no issue with that and it was within correct specifications. The only reason this was found out was due to getting an oil change. My safety and others were put into major risk of the tires almost exploding. The car was listed as unsafe to drive according to professional opinion in documentation. There were no warnings about the tire. Only a letter in the mail from continental months later after the tires were replaced was it made aware the tires were defected.

2012 AUDI Q5- Greenville , SC
December 17, 2024 2012 Q5 Audi Complaint- Purchased at Steve White Greenville, S.C VIN# [XXX] Dear Audi leaders, (and Michele) Thanks for replying to my request and your (brief) follow-up. I know selling cars is your main concern. I learned through years of working for tech companies such as Oracle and HP that it cost a significant more to get a new customer than to retain an old one. I expected at the very least was to lob a phone call to me, instead of pretending to- even more humiliating. The Audi Q5 was the biggest, most dangerous and worst purchase I’ve ever made. It is also the most expensive car I’ve ever maintained. I didn’t realize how many people literally got “burned” on this engine debacle that Audi created. Audi dealerships around the globe forced loyal customer who purchased this vehicle to jump through hoops to prove a very apparent engine flaw. It was like watching the Hindenburg crash, but in slow motion. Upon further research, the level of owners problems varied by engine; some were perfectly fine but most were faced with a ticking time-bomb. Audi seemed to take no blame, instead profiting on an “oil program”, expensive for the consumer and also time consuming, to solve the issue. As time has a way of flushing out the truth, a class action lawsuit quietly arose was settled in 2014. Audi shamelessly offered to cover 40% on certain cars-soon having a class action lawsuit on their hands. At that time, my Q5 had 99,000 miles on it. Because of Audi’s foot-dragging, my Q5 was too old to fix which seemed a little too well orchestrated and that is wrong. Currently, my vehicle is worth nothing and I feel 100% that it was intentionally motivated. I now have a hunk of metal that Audi refuses to fix which is not only frustrating- but is a danger to me and cars around me- It is unsafe. I was going to give it to my [XXX] daughter, but after having it looked over, it was too dangerous-at best. I was never notified by Audi when the recall was ann INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT

2022 AUDI E-TRON- Anchorage, AK
No incident occurred. However, Audi recalled my EV (2022 Audi E-tron) months ago, stating there exists a fire hazard associated with these vehicles. Audi has not provided any effective remedy. The sole advice offered was to refrain from charging the battery beyond 80%. However, Audi has not substantiated the claim that this measure is protective, and it also restricts the performance and intended range of the affected vehicles. I contacted Audi of America and my local Audi dealer, but both entities have been unhelpful and unable to offer any reassurance or scientific data. Battery monitoring software is allegedly scheduled to be released this quarter (originally promised in the final quarter of 2024). This proposed solution appears insufficient. Thermal runaway could potentially lead to a fire without sufficient warning to protect consumers, even with software in place. Clearly, Audi should be compelled to replace the batteries before a consumer sustains an injury or fatalities occur due to thermal runaway and fire. Several incidents of fires involving these vehicles have been reported in the United States and other jurisdictions. Audi has since discontinued using these specific batteries and has access to safer and more efficient alternatives. I urge the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to compel Audi to provide a genuine remedy to this issue as soon as possible to safeguard consumers.

2018 AUDI SQ5- Kent, WA
Heavy rain leaked into the cabin of my SUV,and damaged the module, no controls worked through the key fob, no start . I keep my SUV under cover 90% of the time. A recent wind storm damaged my car port that I usually keep it under, so lately it’s been outside more often, especially if wind is in the forecast. I still use it if no wind is forecasted, because of the damage I don’t trust the carport until I can repair the damage.

"Front left side market light defective" - When the vehicle turns on and the lights activate the side marker lights do not illuminate. There was a recall for this model and year but doesn't include my VIN#. This is happening to MANY 2017 Q7 models. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

When I have a passenger riding with me the passenger airbag cuts on and off the whole time while I’m driving. This is a major safety concern especially when I have passengers all the time. I’m concerned the airbag will not deploy during an accident.
