2014 AUDI S6- Consumer states " I am writing to file a claim for a vehicle recall on my 2014 Audi S6. The date of the recall is March-20-2022. The NHTSA Campaign# is 22V-178. The Audi Recall# is 21H7. The specific defect that is being recalled is Turbo failure. In early 2021, I experienced multiple problems with my vehicle that were consistent with the recall, such as Rough Idling, Difficult to Start, and Stalls. It was fixed at a local Audi dealership in May-2021 (prior to the recall announcement). I was responsible for the repair expenses, which totaled $4198.29, for the Turbo and oil strainer replacement. When I became aware of the recall, I filed a claim with Audi to request reimbursement. Audi's recall website indicates that there are no recalls pending for my vehicle, but the Model Year/Model/Engine/Issue is consistent with the scope of the recall. In over 7 months after filing the claim, I have not heard back from Audi even after repeat inquiries. I would like NHTSA's help to get reimbursement from the OEM. This 2019 Audi A6 purchased on Aug/2020 brand new from an authorized Audi dealer, after several complaints on its breaking behavior it has been diagnosed at the dealer with "Bended Brake Discs or Pressure Plates". Vehicle has been used as a family car an driven in a normal way only by myself. The odometer currently reads 32,165 miles. I believe that the material or workmanship were/are defective. The safety issue is in relation to the longer distance it takes to break and the extreme vibration on the steering wheel when going over 55+mph. No warning messages or any other vehicle feedback is received.

2018 Audi A6 3.0T, VIN [XXX] At 38,637 miles, Audi dealership diagnosed that vehicle requires water pump replacement due to water pump failure, causing vehicle to leak coolant. The vehicle has previously displayed a low coolant warning light prior to water pump failure diagnosis. My research has found that in October 2022, a class action suit was filed for over water pump defects. THIS VEHICLE HAS ELECTRICAL ISSUES. THIS VEHICLE WATERPUMP FAILED TWICE WHICH I HAD TO REPAIR THIS VEHICLE GIVES WARNING SIGN’DRIVE SYSTEM MALFUCTION’ CODES DIRECTING TO TURBO CHARGER BUT IT IS ACTUALLY THE WASTEGATE THATS THE ISSUE-WHICH I HAD REPLACED AFTER THROWING A NEW TURBO. THIS VEHICLE HAS ISSUES WITH THERMOSTAT WHICH I HAD REPLACED TWICE. I was driving down the highway and the panoramic sunroof exploded for no known reason.

About 50 to 65% of the time when I put the car in reverse, the rear facing camera does not work. There is only black showing where the rear image should appear.

I have a 2017 Q7 with the "front Left side marker light defective" warning. However I saw that there was a limited recall 97CB or 16V6420000 for this issue with 2017 Audi Q7 vehicles, but it's VIN specific and my VIN isn't included. Looks like the issue is much more widespread than the Vins they included for the recall as I saw online that lot of people have the same issue in this model. Please help!

My 2018 Audi S5 Prestige with 59K miles meticulously maintained by the dealer had the Suspension Warning light came on about a week ago. I brought it to my local Audi mechanic and they found the right rear spring had broken about 1/3 of the way from the base and the shock had been damaged from the spring breaking. They attributed it low quality steel being used in the springs Audi is using. Luckily it was a rear spring as I understand a front spring breaking at speed could be catastrophic.

I was driving down the highway and my sunroof suddenly exploded randomly. No signs of anything hitting it at all.

Car started flashing all kinds of warnings, then cut off and had to coast to the side of the highway. Then could not get out of the car and the entire system was in complete failure so the doors would not open. Absolutely terrifying experience. Audi knows this is a bad issue and it keeps happening to thousands of Audi owners with the mild hybrid system.
