The rear view camera does not activate when using the parking assist or when reversing. The sensors are still functioning as intended. This can cause unintentional accidents or injuries to pedestrians. This issue was brought up with the dealer back in January of 2023. They mentioned the wiring for the rear camera was pinched by the trunk mechanism and because loose. There are no warning lamps displayed on the dash.

Hello, On April 6th, 2023, at 12 pm, my car experienced a electrical malfunction within the Start/Stop system, which didn’t posed an immediate threat to my life. Later that day, the car stalled on me while driving, causing a highly dangerous situation on a busy street during peak traffic hours. Multiple error codes appeared, and the transmission failed, leaving me in a perilous position. It is alarming that AUDI is aware of this life-threatening issue, yet no recall has been issued thus far. I urge NHTSA to take swift action and hold AUDI accountable for this critical failure, which endangers not only my life but the lives of others on the road. The contact owns a 2016 Audi A6. The contact stated that while refueling, the gas nozzle would frequently stop, causing gasoline to leak from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was discovered that the fuel tank sensor needed to be moved to another location on the vehicle. The contact was provided an estimate for the repair; however, the contact declined to seek a second opinion. The contact was assured by the dealer that the vehicle was safe to be driven. A few days after leaving the dealer, the vehicle stalled while driving at a slow speed, with the check engine warning light illuminated. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed back to the dealer who discovered that fuel had filled up in the evaporation canister sensor which caused the fuel tank and the fuel pump to become defective. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but informed him that his vehicle was not under recall or warranty. The vehicle had yet to be repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 48,000.

I got a message said that the front leftside marker light defective see owner's manual. I did research online and found that many vehicles just pass the warranty then have the same issue. Please help review this case

The oil strainer needs to be replaced in my car. This is a known issue with Audi and there are many recalls on Audis, with the exception of mine. I read that this can lead to the engine stopping and causing an accident and it can ruin the engine. This has been problem has been reported to me by an independent service center.

Electrical malfunction illuminated on the dash than brake malfunction illuminated than the vehicle lost all power no power to windows locks but I was able to roll off an exit and waited for a tow truck to tow to nearest dealer

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the air bag control module had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,600.

48v mild hybrid system failed, car went completely dead in rush hour traffic putting me and other drivers in danger.

The contact owns a 2021 Audi 7. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle electrical warning messages would suddenly display. One while the wife was driving approximately 20 MPH the vehicle suddenly shut off in the middle of the road. The vehicle was later towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the alternator was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The contact was informed by the service advisor that the failed alternator was a known issue and the manufacturer had extended the warranty for the alternator and the replacement alternator was on a ten-week delay due to the high demand for the part. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 27,000.

My husband and son were driving down the road and the sunroof exploded causing glass shards to go everywhere. Temp was 43 degree. According to my husband, it sounded like a bomb went off. Both my husband and son were covered in glass. We had to pull small glass pieces from my son.The vehicle is currently at the dealership. Audi has had know issues/recalls with sunroofs in the last 10 years.
