The warning lite for the low tire pressure comes on randomly and consistently. I've taken it in about 5 times and have been told the tire pressure is fine and it is just a built in defect. I am concerned because I can't check my tires constantly and especially when I am on the freeway. I fear for my safety, the safety of my passengers and the vehicles around me. It happens on the loaners they give me, so I know it is not just my vehicle. I've talked to corporate and they seem very unconcerned. Can you help at all?' I'm considering selling it because of this issue, but don't want some one else coming back on me about it if they get in an accident.

Vehicle was serviced in 2025 for an electrical issue impacting multiple electrical components of car. Approximately one year later the car is back in the shop for both an electrical issue causing lane departure and now lane keep assist to trigger an error. I was told by the local dealership that it is likely related to an electrical module underneath the bumper of the rear of the car. The dealer is franchise and does not share records with other Audi dealerships and therefore unable to evaluate the problem with the prior Audi dealer who identified and repaired the first issue impacting multiple sensors. I was told this current issue seems to be related to a component underneath the harness of the rear bumper, but may be impacting other electrical systems.

Component: Tires (Front Left) Continental Cross Contact LX 265/45 R21 Incident Description: Driving at highway speed, the front left tire suffered a catastrophic tread delamination. The flailing tread tore the fender and charging cover off of the vehicle. No impact or road hazard occured due to smart manuvering and proximity to the shoulder to pull over. However, this could have been deadly with a family with young children in the car and others on the road. This could have been a near fatal event. The car is currently being looked at by the autobody shop and insurance. There were no warnings or other symptoms prior that would have indicated any issue.

  • 2024 AUDI Q4 SPORTBACK E-TRON
    - Seattle, WA

While driving in the left lane on a particularly bumpy section of Interstate 5 South in Seattle (just before the NE 50th Street overpass), I had to quickly hit my brakes as traffic abruptly slowed. The Audie "Pre-sense" sytem did trigger, but emergency autonomous braking did not. My car did not slow down as I hit the brake, and I had to swerve onto the shoulder and put it in "B" mode to trigger full regenerative braking to stop the car. The weather was clear and the road was dry. I had previously had the vehicle in to the dealer as the brakes were making a load creaking sound, which they indicated was normal. The day after this most recent incident, the vehicle was towed (at the dealership's recommendation) in. It's been there for the past week and they are now claiming it is operating as expected.

The module that controls the car’s electronics is located inside a special protective bag. A hole developed in this bag, and water leaked inside. The module is now completely submerged in water. When we started the car, many error messages appeared, but after we turned the car off and tried to start it again, the car would no longer start.

  • 2008 AUDI A4
    - Williamsburg, VA

The contact owns a 2008 Audi A4. The contact received an unknown recall notice related to the air bags. The contact scheduled an appointment at a dealer and had the recall serviced. The contact then stated that while idle in the parking lot of a hospital, a speeding vehicle clipped the front end, driver's side of her vehicle, which caused the entire front bumper to detach from the vehicle. The driver also hit a gate, guardrail, and utility box in the parking lot. The air bags did not deploy upon impact. The contact was then treated at the hospital for an injury to her neck and left shoulder. The contact sustains severe headaches weeks after the accident. The contact received an X-ray and had been assigned to physical therapy for the next few months. The other driver was not injured as a result of the accident. A police report was filed. The vehicle was initially towed to an independent mechanic and was later towed to a storage unit. The contact family member, who is mechanically inclined, stated that the vehicle's air bag sensors were defective. The vehicle had yet to be diagnosed or repaired by dealer. The dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer; the manufacturer gave the contact a case number. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.

The system continues to sound an alarm and flash a warning that lane departure and collision is malfunctioning. We took it to the dealership, they told us two things: it may be a software glitch but they couldn’t recreate it and all systems are normal currently. We live 2.5 hours from the dealership and had to take the day off, rent a vehicle during the repair because no loaner was available. We started our return trip, the vehicle sounded the warning an additional three times yesterday and then again today 3 more times by lunch.
