2025 AUDI Q5- Orlando, FL
I bought the car on September 2, 2025. The car has been in the dealer 5 times. The last one started on December 2, 2025, and still in the dealer as of today (January 8, 2026) no solution has been found. Most of the time is having problem with the technology in the car. I cannot even drive it. It has problem with cameras, Traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise assistant, adaptive light malfunction, headlight assistant malfunction, Audi active lane assistant malfunction, accessibility service malfunction, driver system malfunction (limited vehicle performance), and the list keep on going. I am trying Audi America to buy my car back. I have the car for 4 months and I have use it for approximately 3 weeks (milage as of today 1,529 - several miles done to test the car by the technicians).

2018 AUDI A4- Havertown, PA
This problem is extremely sporadic, and often remedies itself after car shut down, and sometimes require that the car sit for a period of time. I estimate the following issue happens ~1 time a month, or estimated 5% of the time. Weather (temperature specifically) does not appear to impact occurance. When reversing, at times the back up camera does not function properly. During these times, the parking sensors appear to work, but it's unclear if the emergency reverse automatic braking system is working. The backup camera issues present themselves in several different ways and are described below. 1) Scrolling view (think of an old time movie, where the image "scrolling" through the screen 2) Black, but not completely black, includes what appears to be interference (sometimes white pixels flash randomly throughout the screen) 3) Off color (almost like a color inversion), darks appear light, light colors appear dark, similar to how things when developing film in a dark room 4) Similar to #1 but instead it freezes, halfway through a scroll. Often times the picture is split, with the bottom on the top, and the top on the bottom, and a clear black line in the middle Opening and closing the trunk, tapping the camera, turning the parking sensor (and camera) off and on do not solve the issue when it happens. Neither does changing from R to P on the transmission lever. Issue always requires a restart, rarely does an immediate restart fix the issue. The tracking lines are also distorted when this happens. When not malfunctioning, camera system works perfectly. Recently, I came across NHTSA ID: 25V900000 which almost exactly describes my issues but my car is not included. I did recently ask the Dealer to look into it during my 40,000 mile service. They stated that no codes were in the system and they could further troubleshoot but the intermittent nature would likely result in no findings unless the issue is present on site.

2023 AUDI Q5- Houston, TX
The over dashboard screen didn't turn on when the car was open or the ignition turned on. Sometime it would take minutes though on a few occasions it simply didn't turn on. The consequence is I couldn't see how fast I was going, any information related to the car such as fuel level, tachometer, temperature. etc. I had the part replace by Audi, but it was over 3K to fix on part and/or system that should not fail. This started in the month of December 2025 though I just had it fixed.

2019 AUDI E-TRON- South Jordan, UT
INCIDENT SUMMARY: On [XXX], I brought my 2019 Audi e-tron (VIN: [XXX] , 70k miles) to Audi Salt Lake City for Safety Recall 93U9 (High Voltage Battery Module). Vehicle was functioning normally with no warning lights or electrical issues. IMPROPER RECALL COMPLETION: The dealership's technician (Chris Miller, [XXX] ) documented in the service notes: "I FOUND THE GROUNDING STRAP FOR THE REAR MOTOR WAS NOT INSTALLED AND WAS TUCKED UP BETWEEN THE MOTOR AND THE COVERS." This proves the technician failed to properly reinstall the critical grounding strap during recall service, leaving it disconnected in the high voltage system. IMMEDIATE FAILURES AFTER RECALL: Following the recall service, multiple critical failures occurred: Voltage converter failure (part #4KE-907-171-C) Battery charging malfunction (limited to 100 miles range vs normal 200+ miles) Multiple stored fault codes and dashboard warning lights Rear drive motor faults Parking brake system failures All failures are consistent with loss of proper grounding in a high voltage EV system. SAFETY CONCERNS: The technician drove my vehicle 55 miles during service (odometer: 70,651 IN to 70,706 OUT). Why didn't they notice the warning lights during this excessive test drive? Operating a high voltage EV with improper grounding creates risk of electrical fire, shock hazard, and component damage. How many other vehicles at this dealership had recall 93U9 improperly completed? DEALER RESPONSE: Dealership attempted to charge me $2,089 for repairs caused by their incomplete recall work. When I disputed, the General Manager threatened to call police if I didn't return the loaner vehicle. No repairs were ever authorized by me. INVESTIGATION REQUESTED: Please investigate Audi Salt Lake City's recall 93U9 completion procedures and quality control. This is negligent completion of federal safety recall work that endangered my safety and may affect other e-tron INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2019 AUDI E-TRON- Ross, CA
The contact owns a 2019 Audi E-Tron. The contact stated that during rainy weather, there was water entering the vehicle through the roof, and water was leaking onto the infotainment system, the shifter, and other electronics. Additionally, the contact stated that there was water accumulating in the footwell. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that water was leaking through the fully closed sunroof. The contact related the failure to TSB Number: AWA-23-09 (Sunroof Limited Warranty Extension) that stated that the dealer would address a condition of leakage and water ingress into the interior of the vehicle from the sunroof while in the fully closed position and would address consequential damages as a direct result of the water ingress. However, the dealer informed the contact that there was another TSB with the same TSB Number that overrode the bulletin information. The contact was informed that only 60 percent of the cost of the sunroof repair would be covered, and the contact would be responsible for the cost of the repair of the water damage. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and confirmed that only the TSB that fully covered the cost of the repairs was found, and no other TSB was found. A case was filed. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.

2021 AUDI Q7- Spokane, WA
I was driving on the freeway and got off on an exit ramp at high speeds and began to slow down and break. As I was breaking the car became clunky and slowed down and suddenly shut off. The warning lights “transmission failure and “ESC failure” came on and I was unable to drive or put the car into gear. The car flashed “stop. Pull over” and “not safe to drive” and see “Audi dealer”. The car would not turn back on. We were stuck in the middle Of the freeway off-ramp with cars flying by us with no sidewalks or safe ways to exit the vehicle. I had my wife, dog and 2 and 4 year old kids with me. I then had to be towed to my local Audi dealer. At the Audi dealer, I told them what happened and asked for a full diagnostic. They then called me the next day and said they ran codes and nothing popped up. I said can they run a full diagnostic further and see what happened. They called me the next day and said they did a “deeper dive” and I needed to replace my transmission intake body valve and gave me a repaid quote of $8,000. My car had been serviced 2 months prior on 10/16/25 with the transmission being checked and said great.

The contact owns a 2020 Audi A6. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, water leaked into the vehicle and accumulated in the rear passenger’s side area of the vehicle. The contact initially believed that the failure might be related to inclement weather; however, the issue persisted. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where a video diagnostic inspection was performed. The dealer diagnosed that water had entered in through the longitudinal member and passenger’s side footwell, causing damages to the gateway control module which required replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact expressed concerns that water intrusion could create a hazardous condition and potentially lead to additional vehicle failures. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 67,000.
