2017 AUDI Q7- Ashland, OR
The "right side marker light" error message comes on when headlights are on, but the marker light is operating fine. I understand that this is part of a recall on other Audi Q7 models, but my 2017 does not appear to be within that recall. I request that the recall be expanded to include my auto. It appears from online information that other owners outside of the recall are having the issue that the recall is aimed at. Thank you for your consideration. 2015 AUDI A8- Alamogordo, NM
So I purchased a vehicle from wright drive in El Paso, Texas. I was driving home back to Alamogordo which is 90 miles away, maybe 80 I realized there was no adaptive cruise control. So I messaged dealership. They told me that there was nothing they could do. It's not a safety issue. I got the vehicle home the next day. I found out the whole front suspension was bad. I kept hearing a noise when I would drive over bumps and it was really loud. I contacted the dealership, told them that the suspension was bad. They told me to take it to Audi to have them look at it. It came out to like $8,000 worth of repairs. They told me they would not pay that and I could return the vehicle for a full refund. I told them okay. I would be there in 3 days because I was working. They said that was fine. I get there 3 days later they told me that was no longer an option. So I got stuck with the car that needed $8,000 worth of repairs and then another four for more suspension parts. New breaks the 3,000 to fix the adaptive cruise control. I understand the adaptive cruise control is not really a big deal but the fact that they lied about me being able to return the vehicle and now I'm stuck with the vehicle thing that I've paid more fixing a suspension then the car is even worth. I'm a single father with two kids. I cannot afford to keep paying for a car that they should have taken back to begin with because it's illegal to sell a vehicle that has saved the issues

2024 AUDI Q4 SPORTBACK E-TRON- Portland, OR
I purchased a new 2024 Audi Q4 e-tron. The first malfunction occurred in January 2025 when a dashboard warning appeared stating the vehicle was “unable to read traffic or road signs.” The dealer confirmed a front-camera sensor failure and replaced the camera under Repair Order #193312 (1/17/25 – 1/29/25) at approximately 397 miles. In February 2025, the vehicle displayed repeated “drive system malfunction” warnings and would not start reliably. The dealer determined the issue was linked to the 12-volt battery and replaced it under RO #194457 (2/24/25 – 3/14/25, 866 miles). Soon after, persistent drive-system and electrical faults continued (RO #195096 and #195241 from 3/17 – 3/27 at 866–1,081 miles) but no repair was completed. On 4/10/25, an “AWD malfunction” occurred, and the vehicle was towed. Under RO #195846 (4/10/25 – 4/25/25, 1,594 miles), the front electric motor/drive unit was replaced. The vehicle remained out of service for extended periods. I was provided an EV loaner during the initial repair in January and gasoline loaner vehicles thereafter. In June 2025 (RO #198283 at 3,161 miles), a factory recall for the onboard charger was performed. The warning “Pedestrians cannot hear motor sound” appeared both before and after the motor replacement, suggesting a persistent fault in the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS). These repeated electrical, sensor, and propulsion failures — all within 3,000 miles of use — raise concerns about the reliability and safety of the ADAS camera, drive unit, and pedestrian-alert system. Power loss and a nonfunctional pedestrian-warning feature could increase risk to the driver and others. The manufacturer has been notified, and both dealer and manufacturer-updated repair records — showing mileage inconsistencies between versions — are available for review upon request.

2024 AUDI S5- Plano, TX
The contact owns a 2024 Audi S5. The contact stated that while his wife was seated in the front passenger’s seat with dam clothing after a workout, the air bag malfunction warning light would illuminate. The contact's wife had to sit on a towel while seated in the passenger’s seat to activate the air bags, and to turn off the warning light. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The manufacturer stated that the air bag sensor was not designed to activate if the seat was affected by moisture. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.

2019 AUDI Q7- San Dimas, CA
Drive System malfunction code appeared while driving. Engine then shut off immediately. Had it towed to Audi dealership. Fuel Pump and Fuel Pump Module Codes reported in diagnostics check: codes P3044, P1158, and P0148. There is a NHTSA campaign number 22V516 (Audi recall number 20DR) that has been reported on this same issue with the fuel pump, however, my model 2019 is one year shy of the 2020 Q7 to 2021 affected vehicle range. Asking NHTSA to look into other repeated fuel pump issues for the same model vehicle, but for 2019 models. I have read of other 2019 model fuel pump complaints that match the 2020-2021 recall. The 2019 models need to be included in the investigation and recall.

2021 AUDI RS 7- Allen Park, MI
While driving, car suddenly started overheating. Warning message asked me to pull over and let the car run idle. However, I was on a free way that was under construction and all shoulders were closed. So no way for me to stop for at least 4 miles. I was afraid that the engine would blow while driving the whole time. Took it to the dealer and they told me that the water pump is faulty. After looking at some Audi forums, it seems like this is a common issue with these vehicles. I’m surprised there has not been a recall since I am not the first person that this has happened to.

2012 AUDI Q5- Marana, AZ
The vehicle sunroof exploded. On March 10th at approximately 12:15pm, while driving down the road from my residence in my 2012 Audi Q5, the sunroof blew up, without warning, causing shattered glass to fall inside the cab of the vehicle onto myself, and my then nine year old son, causing minor cuts, and small pieces of glass to be lodged into the skin of our arms, chest, and head . I called the Audi service ref repairs, and was told it would take three months, before the service department could look at and repair my vehicle, as they were backed up with repairs. I ordered a new sunroof windshield and did a self repair and calibration. I followed up with Audi, advising of the incident, and was told the SUNROOF was under a recall, but their records, this item had been address on my vehicle, no further assistance was offered.
