2021 AUDI A7 E- Lisbon, CT
The warning ‘drive system failure’ appears while driving and tells you to stop the car immediately. This happens randomly while driving on a highway. The engine now makes a higher pitched noise and then the transmission will no go into drive it immediately goes into neutral, the car slows down and you must pull over as you have no control over the car. The gas doesn’t work. There are so many alerts that pop up with a malfunction- parking brake, transmission, distance warning, audi presense warning, tire pressure malfunction, transmission malfunction. BEFORE this- There was an issue found when a check engine light appeared after the car failed emmissions testing. Control Pilot Circuit High and AC refrigerant pressor sensor B circuit failures listed. The car went to Audi and they said it was an air conditioning issue and other faults. The cleared the faults and signed off on the emmissions paperwork. I told Audi of the issue when getting it serviced- they could not replicate the random drive system failure alert. Again the same issue- bring it to audi- they had it for a week or so- still cannot replicate the issue. A few weeks later while driving on I91, the driver system alert comes on and there was a high pitched sound car goes into neutral- I have no control over the vehicle and coast down 2 roads and into a driveway of a volkswagen dealership in an unsafe area of Hartford. I then started the care up and took it to Audi of East Hartford. The replicated the issue they said and replaced the entire EOC unit for almost $7000. They had the car for a month. Then after having it back a couple of weeks it randomly does it again and restarting the car would reseg it only once and then another alert and the car dies on the highway and I again lose control and pull over to the shoulder. VERY VERY unsafe. The car just dies randomly on a highway. It happened in May of 2025, June and July. July 15 was the most recent immediately after being ‘repaired’.

Audi mmi/infotainment reboots repeatedly while driving. It removes my attention from driving and is extremely distracting. Also fails when backing up and back up camera goes black. I have not taken to a dealer as this has been a frequent problem among other 2020 Audi owners.

MMI system is restarting on a near constant basis, both while parked and driving. Aside from being inconvenient, as you can not use media/navigation/etc while it’s rebooting, it also causes many safety features like drive assist/collision/obstacle detection to malfunction and not work, and is therefore simply outright dangerous.

MMI/infotainment system randomly shuts down every 30 seconds or even less. The entire screen goes black, it even happened when i was backing up the car while looking through the backup camera, which was extremely dangerous. I have tried all kinds of methods to fix but it doesn’t seem to be working, and it getting worse as we speak with more frequent shutdowns

Audi A4 2020 B9 model MMI "info-system" constantly restarts itself during the drive, regardless of it being connected via Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, or radio. MMI constantly restarts without reason, usually within 1 to 3 minutes. When MMI restarts, the rebooting process takes about another 1 to 3 minutes and prevents access to features such as the back-up camera and prevents safe reversal of the vehicle. Furthermore, the constant rebooting of the MMI interferes with the use of the GPS and audio speaker within the car. Which causes an unnecessary distraction when driving. The problem has been reproduced by self and confirmed by others experiencing the same issue within Audi's support forum. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others due to an unnecessarily high charge required in order to inspect the vehicle. No warning lamps or messages have been initiated prior to the failure or when the failure of the MMI first occurred.

The MMI reboots 3-4 times while driving, a big distraction. It starts by checking remote access rights, then has a few other messages. It takes nearly 2 minutes to reset and often this occurs several times. If you select certain options, the MMI starts to change seat and other settings while vehicle is in operation. The dealer has no software updates/upgrades to resolve this potentially serious issue. This has happened several times recently (last few weeks).

Audi MMI (Muti Media Interface) constantly resets while driving the vehicle. The problem began about 4 months ago. The MMI would reboot very infrequently- about once every couple weeks. However, I took the vehicle in for a routine oil change yesterday and when I received the vehicle back, it now constantly resets as soon as it reboots. If I attempt to click a button (like accepting my user profile) the screen immediately goes black. I believe this poses an extreme safety hazard given it can shut off while in reverse when the back up camera is engaged. It is also very distracting constantly seeing the MMI reboot and shut down as every time it reboots it asks for credentials/PINs/Users etc. Lastly, it's very dangerous because if I'm on a call it tries to constantly kick it over to the Bluetooth (but it doesn't work) so I have to manually put the phone back into speaker mode which is extremely distracting.

2016 AUDI S7- Maple Heights, OH
Carvana sold me a 2016 Audi S7 (VIN [XXX] ) with what was later discovered to be an odometer discrepancy. I submitted a formal complaint to the Ohio Attorney General, and Carvana subsequently issued a refund. However, after refunding me, I learned that Carvana resold the vehicle at auction without disclosing the odometer issue or branding the title as required under federal law. Play also did disclose the damage that was done to the engine, turbo chargers, or from the car catching on fire. This raises serious concerns about odometer fraud and title washing, and I believe it warrants federal investigation under 49 U.S. Code § 32705. I request NHTSA open a case on this matter and audit Carvana’s practices relating to odometer disclosures and resale.
