  • 2024 BUICK ENVISTA
    - Sikeston, MO

2024 Buick Envista: My driver side mirror vibrates when driving above 50-55 mph. The housing itself does not vibrate or shake. My passenger side mirror does not vibrate. I can see the traffic behind me but the lights apear fuzzy when when it’s dark outside. I had it at the dealership today (1/8/2024) and was told they drove another Envista and it exhibited the same issue. However, the said they could not fix as there is no fix for it. I have reached out to Buick via X (Twitter) and they kept referring me back to the dealership as there is no recall at this time. I feel that this is a safety issue for me driving, especially if it gets worse. I would like for Buick to acknowledge the problem and fix my mirror.

    - San Diego, CA

While at a stoplight, my buick encore's power steering just stopped working. I was only able to turn the steering wheel with great effort. The car would not go in reverse, although when pressing on the accelerator in reverse, the engine would rev. Shifting from drive to reverse also caused the car to jolt. The car is available for inspection. This has happened previously in fall of 2021, and the same exact thing happened, but this time while I was driving through an intersection. I was unable to steer and ran into a curb. My safety and safety of others was put at risk because I could have hit another driver or pedestrian The car has been inspected by a Triple A approved mechanic twice (once in 2021 and once now), and they have not found any problems with the car. The power steering and traction lights came on on my dashboard.

    - Rochester, NH

I have been employed in the Automotive Parts and Repair business for over forty years. I notice my vehicle exhaust sounded different than usual. I suspected the flex pipe part of the front exhaust pipe was leaking. This was confirmed by my local auto repair shop during a service visit. During my time as GM Parts Manager I can speak from experience to the problems these flex pipes cause because I kept two or three of them on the shelf to repair vehicles. My concern is exhaust fumes entering the passenger compartment of my vehicle because the flex pipe leaking which is just off the exhaust manifold. I contacted the local dealership where my vehicle was purchased because there still is a "Emission Warranty in effect. My 2018 Buick Encore has less than 50000 miles on it . I also contacted the Northeast Region District Service Manger with my concerns.

  • 2023 BUICK ENCORE GX
    - Tempe, AZ

Malfunction of rear passenger doors and back trunk/hatch. My safety and the passengers of others is significantly at risk, the doors open slightly when turning, the seal of weather stripping opens and sounds of road noise is louder than if the door windows were open. Upon closing the drivers door and a passenger opening the rear driver side door the metal touched and made a loud metal impact sound. Paint has been removed from both doors in the exact same spot that this occurred. It seems as if the doors installed either have a faulty hinge, wrong doors attached on the rear passenger doors or their is a faulty design or weld. The rear door on the driver side is visibly unaligned to the drivers door and it appears the manufacturer added extra weather stripping to compensate for the incorrect door being installed. While the doors are locked and the vehicle turns or travels over bumps in the road it is very noticeable and I do not feel my passengers are safe. I’ve never had a vehicle separate the door from the frame while driving. This can’t be safe.
