2018 CHRYSLER 300 Complaints

The contact owns a 2018 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while reversing, the backup camera failed to operate due to the Uconnect System malfunctioning. Vehicle’s LCD screen has become delaminated which causes the control of the radio, air conditioning, navigation, and other features controlled by the "radio" portion of the car to become dysfunctional. The car will randomly beep, change air temperatures, start navigation, cause the loss of hands-free communication. This is a safety hazard because it is very distracting attending to the incessant beeping and issues related to AC/heat, navigation or radio (volume, etc.). This appears from Chrysler Forums to be an issue among a large group of Chrysler 300 Year Model 2018 owners. I am encouraging them to file a concern with your group and to ask for a recall of the car for this reason.

The infotainment system screen is delaminating causing ghost touches and has the ability to call 911, change heating changes and distraction to driver while driving the car ..this is the heart of the car and can be very dangerous

Front driver has lifted. Took the car in to have it repaired and they have no resolution. On 9/12/2022 I attempted to exit my vehicle and the panel had lifted such that the door would not open. The only way to exit my car was to climb over the center console to exit the vehicle. Only way to get door open after was to continue to pull up on the panel so I could place the locking mechanism in it's proper place. This could have been a severe safety hazard.

My vehicle has a backup camera and also controls different functions of my vehicle the screen will completely blank or when I put into reverse the screen will show a distorted view on the screen or I will get bold colored lines on the screen with distorted views. I took a picture of the screen and took it to a Chrysler dealership while my vehicle was still under warranty the service advisor told me that he had never seen that before and they would have to keep my vehicle and see if it did it when they had it.I told him that I never know when it will do it .

Radio delaminating, just seen a bubble in screen then it started ghosting things on screen. So far clock and any paired device
