Noticed that I have been low on antifreeze/coolant over the last few thousand miles. Reading other complaints, it seems as though the engine block becomes warped around 60,000 miles causing the engine to burn coolant. Chrysler will end up replacing the headgasket for around $3-4,000 which ends up lasting around 10,000 miles before the same issue occurs. Just surprised that a car with 60,000 miles would fail. There really should be at least a TSB on this.

This vehicle has been towed to the dealership for service for a 5th time! Lights of all systems start flashing as not available. This time I had loss of power driving. I got off a main road, but was not able to put the car into park or engage emergency brake as no systems were available!! I sat with my foot on the break while the “p” for parking flashed and the engine just wanted to rev. I have pictures that tell some of the story. It took 40 minutes for the car to recognize that it was in park (or reset). They’ve already had this car in September of 2022, October 2022 two separate incidents, and then again for an entire month from November-December, with no loaners or funds towards rentals. Last week the car lit up the same way, but this time I was not in my neighborhood, but I was on a main road! Not being able to have power was frightening, but not being able to put that car into any gear for 40 minutes is not acceptable.

The informational screen when turned on get super super hot and has slightly warped the dashboard. I believe There is a connection between Having the informational screen on while driving and the steering wheel sticking. It sticks less when the informational screen is turned off. I worry that if I’m driving with the radio on it will catch the car on fire

With Chrysler, recalls are never ending. Last year there was battery recall (Z11) that took 10 months to fix. Just after I got that fixed in Dec-2022, in Feb-2023, we have a new recall, where the vehicle is pretty much rendered useless as it can stop anytime on freeway. My friend who has the car had the vehicle suddenly lose traction and stop in freeway (this happened last week). Fortunately nothing happened as he was able to exit safely. Given it hit so close to home, I am scared to drive my Chrysler Pacifica car anymore. When i contact Chrysler for possible remedies like offering a rental assistance e.t.c they are adamant and refuse to help in anyway. I don't understand this ; I have brought a car in good faith and for no fault of mine , i need to spend on "rental car" now? In prior recalls, Chrysler did offer Rental assistance, but this time around they seem to refuse to entertain any such help. This is really a very precarious situation for me. My wife constantly uses this car to shuttle kids to/from school/activities and frequently needs to use it on freeway. I am really concerned for my family's safety and well being. I think this unfortunate stance by Chrysler is placing us in great danger. Pls help!!

I have recognized at least 6 times within the first ten minutes after propulsion on, when I apply the brakes on dry pavement, with even brake pedal pressure, the brakes do not grab properly and the car continues to glide forward for a few moments, Then I put the car in park (often at a traffic light) to try to clear or reset the problem.
