Car bucks and jolts with NO warning engine races , Tach goes up to 3-4 K RPM. This saturday was the worst ever . The ar violently bucked and banged the engine reved up and Stoped moving in traffic. I let it coast to the sde of the road and shut it off. After about 5 mins i restarted the car and the check engine light came on but the engine only raced in Drive not moving forward. I manually swiched the control to (L ) low and was able to get it home at about 5 MPH

This van has had a bad problem with shifting at low speeds since it was new but getting worse and worse by the day. Dealers do not know what is wrong with it. When accelerating it will miss gears and suddenly catch and jolt the vehicle forward. When that happens there is a really loud bang from the transmission. It feels like someone rear ended me going 30 mph. Sometimes the check engine light comes on and then goes off. Other times it doesn't. This has almost caused numerous accidents as it is completely unexpected as to when and where it happens. It started around once/twice a week and now it happens 15-20 times a week and the vehicle only has 70k miles on it. There is no way to check the transmission fluid as it is a sealed system. Online I have read literally hundreds of owners experiencing the same issue with this van and ALL are asking when will there ever be a recall. After enough people die???

Top portion of fuel filler neck broke off vehicle during normal refueling process. Top of capless system fractured from filler neck and came off with gas pump nozzle as it was removed from vehicle. Capless fuel system no longer has a seal mechanism to contain fuel vapors. Fuel vapors will potentially leak from vehicle during normal driving as well as parked conditions. This leakage will worsen as weather begins to warm up. Potential to trigger OBDII malfunction when vehicle runs diagnostics for leakage.

While driving our minivan it stalls or it seems like the gas isn’t getting to the engine. It has happened when I’ve been accelerating from a side road across a very busy road on more thank e occasion. We thought it was the gas we were using. Now we’ve been advised it is due to a “crank shaft sensor”. (?) We may not be eligible to get it fixed because we got our 2017 Pacifica in Oct 2016, drove it approx. 15,000 miles/ year so we may not be able to get it fixed for free.

Lost transmission momentarily when accelerating. Engine reved, but no response.from transmission. Then transmission re-engaged with a jerk strong enough to set me back in my seat. This has happened numerous times but there is no pattern as to when it will happen. The dealership says they can't duplicate the complaint so I'm stuck with a problem that will one day leave me stranded on the side of the road. Transmission issues have plagued the 2017 -2023 Pacificas yet no action from Chrysler.

Was at my house and opened my door like normal. Door fell off the rear hinge and stayed connected on the front, but with the door now open. The van won't drive because the parking brake will just keep turning on.

I was driving about 2Omph and all of a sudden the van slowed down and I had a message on the car to shift to P to Park.it was weird because I was driving and it basically stopped on me and I had to shift the gear to P and press the start button to restart.

P0303 error code for misfire in the engine, 3rd Cylinder. Repair was completed by the dealer. It was 13,000 miles outside of drivetrain warranty. Now, the second failure is 3 months outside the 2year, unlimited mileage service warranty from when the head gasket and seat was replaced on the #3 cylinder. I just learned there was a class action ruling related to my model car and engine due to a faulty crankshaft. I have no idea if this could result in my current engine problems as I continue to have difficulty reaching the appropriate Chrysler representative to ask. I read in another class action lawsuit (which has been filed I believe by a law group on the East Coast, and then postponed due to COVID) for specific defects inside the engine resulting in misfires, hesitation during automatic shifting, and sudden increases in speed (which I have experienced during freeway driving). One of the symptoms of this issue is a ticking sound when the engine is turned off, which my car has always done, though I was told some years ago this is normal for this car. It took 3 weeks and about half a dozen calls to the dealer service department before I got a call back to schedule a diagnostic which is another 6 weeks out.

I was driving my van and the dash board turns on and off several times. It starts to light all lights while I'm driving. It was a scary situation while im driving my vans brakes while I'm in the freeway. This has happened several times. I also had my vehicle not turn on at all It stays locked and the dash boards says come error code. My vehicle jerks randomly and feels its gonna shut off. Had to tow the car to the dealer, no problem found. On another occasion my transmission was defective and it was changed. . It's has been taken to the dealer several times and I continue to have electrical issues and mechanical issues. I contacted the manufacturer and asked to do a buy back. The company refused and I explained all the issues that I have on my van and no resolution was made.
