The contact stated that while the vehicle was in reverse(R), there was an abnormal screeching sound coming from the rear brakes while depressing the brake pedal. 4wd service fault known issue with these vehicles I feel that this is a safety issue based on the fact that you could lose four-wheel drive in times when four-wheel drive could be necessary icy conditions snow conditions ECT losing four-wheel drive during a snowstorm can definitely cause an accident this should definitely be a safety issue especially being a known problem
