2021 FORD BRONCO SPORT- Lake View, NY
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact had received notification of the NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V267000 (Electrical System, Power Train); and the vehicle was taken to the dealer to be repaired. The contact stated that 4 months later, while stopped and idling at a stop light, the vehicle lost power. The contact was unable to use any of the features or systems within the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who diagnosed and determined that the battery had failed and needed to be replaced. The battery was replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The failure mileage was 25,000.

2021 FORD BRONCO SPORT- Atlanta, GA
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that after refueling and starting the vehicle, the front of the vehicle was shaking abnormally. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle the shaking ceased. The local dealer was contacted, and a service tech was sent to repair the vehicle under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V267000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, POWER TRAIN) however, the abnormal shaking returned. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the abnormal shaking persisted, and the contact waited for the shaking to cease before the vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced, and the engine needed some undisclosed repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact believed that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V859000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) for which the VIN was included; however, the recall repair had not yet been performed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 108,000.

2021 FORD BRONCO SPORT- Honolulu, HI
My ford bronco stalled when I was slowing down at a traffic light. The entire car shutdown. The steering wheel locked up and the car could not be put into neutral. After about 15 minutes the car was able to turn on again. The stalling out at an intersection put me in danger by putting me in a situation where I was stuck in active traffic without the ability to move my car to a safe area off of the main road. There were no warning lights or messages prior to the car completely shutting off at the traffic light.

Brakes Made loud squeaks noise when in reverse. Have taken into dealer multiple times and not fixed. They say an issue with Bronco Sports but my vin does not show on recall. Worried about brake failures or issues that could arise. They replaced front rotors and deglazed pads. Spent 462.19 and problem never fixed.

The evaporative emissions system failure involving the purge valve and vapor canister purge valve is a recurrent issue on this car and has been reported by hundreds if not thousand of bronco sport owners. The safety issue that arises from this is that we are emitting more fuel vapors into the atmosphere, not only does this not help with emissions control into the atmosphere, but it decreases fuel efficiency and increases gasoline smell into the vehicles cabin.

The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that on several occasions while in reverse (R) she observed a grinding noise emanating from the rear passenger side of the vehicle and the steering wheel began shaking simultaneously. On a few there occasions while making left or right turns, she observed the same grinding noise emanating from the rear passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the rear differential may have needed to be replaced but he was uncertain that would be a permanent repair. The mechanic advised the contact to take the vehicle to a dealer. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the differential assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.
