2021 FORD BRONCO SPORT Complaints

Driving the vehicle between on a highway and, repeatedly, the control panel would completely shut down with the warning that the battery was running low on power. It doesn’t make sense since the vehicle is less than two years old.

At 21,000 miles on Bronco I purchased as new, I received an alert on the dash for low pressure on all 4 tires. I stopped the car and all 4 have bulges in the same place. I called Continental and they set up a file #4143053155 and told me to take it to the dealer for inspection. I took it back to Van Horn In Lomira WI for that inspection on 12/9/22. They took pictures and sent them to Continental who tells me that this is normal for tires to have bulges in the side. I am very concerned if the tires are actually safe to drive on. The tires are Continental Pro Contract tx P225/R65/17.

Every morning or when it’s raining out the breaks make a horrible loud grinding noise on when hitting the breaks as you back up. My concern is that these breaks are oxidizing super quickly as this started happening only after a few months of owning my new car. I have had many cars and mostly used cars and never have I heard this horrible noise when breaking while backing up. I feel like these are going to degrade severely quickly.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the front brake pads were replaced. The manufacturer was contacted and agreed to replace the front brake pads; however, the rear brake pads were not replaced. The failure mileage was 100,000.

The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that while driving soon after starting the vehicle, while the gear shifter was in reverse(R), the brake pedal was depressed and there was a loud squeaking sound. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the brake pads needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the local dealer on five occasions, and the mechanics were unable to duplicate the failure. Additionally, the contact stated that the failure was reoccurring while driving at various speeds and that a vibration was felt when the brake pedal was depressed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA hotline. The approximate failure mileage was 600.

Some Ford Bronco Sport and Escape SUVs, which share a brake system, are being recalled now because NHTSA has determined that they may not stop in a short enough distance in some circumstances. A total of 114,996 vehicles, mostly 2021 models with a few 2022s, will be recalled starting in early January. Yes dealer has car and told be it need booster. This was bought less than a month . I dont think it was look at with ford gold certified. Found out it was in shop late july august by previse buyer. They coverd it up never gave me sheet what was look at.

Per Master Tech Bo at CamelBack Ford in Phoenix, AZ - He stated he had a 2021 Bronco Sport in his shop for 3 months with the same issue mine has had now 3 times and mine has been "Repaired" twice. He could not find out why the vehicle was stalling/losing power while in motion. I proceeded to look for an answer and had asked if that Bronco Sport he is referring to is still in his shop.. his answer was no. I asked then what was the issue, his response was a failing Guide-Pin in the transmission not being an exact sit in the fitting position. I had my vehicle towed to Chapman Ford of Scottsdale, AZ for the 3rd time. They started a Inspection/Diagnoses on my vehicle without knowing at all why my vehicle was towed in. Then proceeded to not listen to my request of inspecting the transmission assembly and denied service to my ensure if my family is (ASAP) - as safe as possible - in this vehicle and stated "It is SUPPOSEDLY drivable" (Recorded Line). They said my vehicle "Stalled" and did not lose power (like they were there when I was moving 20 MPH) because of the fuel level! They reported (Recorded Line) vehicle was brought in with ESTIMATED 26 Miles like this is a non-sufficient amount of fuel. ** Let me be the first to say the estimate is not an estimate I have gotten this car down to the 10 Miles left warning indicator message and felt no problems regarding to a low fuel amount. First open case with ford Motor Company was Closed at their discretion for their reasons the day it was opened First Case Number: [XXX] Second Case Number was also closed the day it was open due to the dealerships report after looking at nothing and the car is SUPPOSEDLY DRIVABLE! Vehicle brought into dealership for Brake Recall. After this service, vehicle had loud metallic grinding sound when turning hard to the right under moderate acceleration. Vehicle was brought back to the dealership the next day, and the determination was there was damage to the Rear Differential due to a lubrication issue. The dealership added more fluid and a noise reducer fluid, and returned the vehicle a week later. Issue still persists, though not as loud as before. No warning lamps or messages appeared. Only symptom was grinding / surging of transmission when turning, and upon initial acceleration

Vehicle brought in for Brake Recall at 11k miles. After service completed, vehicle has a loud screech when vehicle is in reverse or in a tight turn radius. No warning lamps or symptoms before this issue occurred. Vehicle is being brought back to dealership for further inspection.

The doors on my vehicle are buckling. There are ripples in the sheet metal on all four doors where the metal meets the window glass. It appears to be some type of structural issue. Im worried if these doors are buckling under normal wear and tear im concerned if they are structurally sound if the vehicle were involved in a accident? Is the cause of this issue metal fatigue? I am not an engineer but there is obviously an issue with these doors that may be some type of safety issue. I brought this to the attention of Ford and they acknowledged the issue. They took photos of the issue but have not come up with a solution. While at the dealership having my vehicle inspected I observed several other Ford Broncos with the same issue. I provided photos of the issue but I must admit it is difficult to see.
