UNKNOWN MY 2021 FORD F-150 POWERBOOST HYBRID CAUGHT ON FIRE ON FEBRUARY 03, 2023. THE TRUCK WAS NOT RUNNING AND FORTUNATELY I HAD IT IN MY DRIVEWAY BECAUSE I WAS HEADING OUT OF TOWN FOR THE WEEKEND. IT STARTED UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT. THE FIRE WAS SO INTENSE THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAD TO BE CALLED TO PUT IT OUT. IF THE TRUCK WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GARAGE IT WOULD HAVE EASILY BURNED MY HOUSE DOWN. MY INSURANCE COMPANY SENT OUT A FIRE INVESTIGATOR AND HE CONCLUDED IT WAS DEFINITELY SOMETHING ELECTRICAL.

This problem has been ongoing, happening nonstop up to multiple times daily since Feb of 2022 and has spent now 70 days at the dealership in search of the issue. Luckily, the vehicle has not caused an incident yet, but I am afraid to drive it if I get it back from the dealer again as the issue has just gotten worse. The vehicle randomly while driving goes into a "limp mode" in which 1 of 2 things happens. 1) If unable to pull over immediately, the vehicle has very erratic throttle control and 2) the vehicle sometimes gives a warning about the "adavancetrack" system and will sometimes shift itself into neutral out of nowhere forcing you to coast to a stop no matter where or what type of street you are on. In researching this problem to help my dealer at first and now to try and protect myself while in a battle with ford, it seems to be a common problem discussed on many forums on the internet and facebook and seems quite common among the F-150 powerboost. Ford is refusing me a buyback at this time and ignoring the safety implications that my vehicle is having

Both rear axle retaining bolts snapped. The only thing holding the axles in was the brake rotors and calipers. Had they not started squeaking and grinding, I would not have known those critical bolts had broken! At the dealership now being repaired. With the same faulty methods and parts. VERY common problem for the F150 Powerboost with the Max-Tow package.

The sound system blasted a loud, screeching sound, and I couldn't turn it down. It startled me so much that I ran a red light. It seems many similar models have this issue: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/dangerous-b-o-sound-system-issue.9254/.

On March 24, 2023, I got inside my 2021 Ford F-150 Power Boost King Ranch Truck, Turned it on. Heard a loud popping sound. Began to drive away. Then all of a sudden there was a loud static sound. The sound was so loud like someone turned the volume to MAX limit and I began trying to turn it off. The radio was not responsive. I started to panic because I had all these vehicles around me and could not think correctly. It was affecting my decision making and all I could think of is turning off my phone, pressing the Power On + Next Track button to hard reset radio , etc. Nothing worked. Loud static sound would stop. Radio wouldnt turn off. Next thing you know Im on the expressway trying to get off because obviously nothing worked. After around 20 minutes, I finally pulled over. Turned off my truck. Then turned it back on thinking it would have stopped. NOPE, sound was still on. Had to get to my destination and when I did. I lost some of my hearing. It was that BAD!!

Rear Axel Bolt Failure. Please help. This has been an issue for over a year with newer F150s. Most failures occur on the "Max Trailer Tow Packages" with the "floating rear axel". You'll see multiple failures on new trucks. Mine has ~18k miles. Dealer says it's unsafe to drive. Many are finding broken bolts incidentally when getting tires rotated. Others like myself hear it rattling. Someone will get hurt. I have a rental car provided by ford because it's deemed unsafe.

The drivers door lock sticks in the cold, so it will occasionally lock me into or out of my vehicle. I feel this is a safety issue, because I may not be able to exit my vehicle quickly in an emergency situation. It also may not lock leaving the vehicle vulnerable to theft.
