    The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated while attempting to make a turn from a complete stop at an intersection, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated that the START/STOP feature was engaged at the time of the failure. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle several times and the vehicle responded. There was no warning light illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated while driving in a construction zone with the Lane Departure Steering Assist mode engaged, he turned the steering wheel to avoid the construction cone; however, the vehicle veered to the opposite direction and was pulling towards the construction cone. The contact also stated while driving and passing a semi-truck, the vehicle jerked and was pulling to the right, towards the rear of the semi-truck. There was no warning light illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle pulled toward an embankment. The contact deactivated the Lane Assist feature. The contact stated while driving and depressing the brake pedal to make a complete stop, the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stood on the brake pedal, but the vehicle hesitated to respond, causing a 10-foot stopping distance delay. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 9,000.

    Passenger side rear axle bolt failure. The bolt sheared off completely and was found rattling inside the center cap. Dealer states vehicle cannot be driven. Ford will provide rental until repaired but can’t provide estimated repair date.

    While traveling at around 70 mph, the truck felt like it losing power. As I further step on the accelerator, the truck didn't response. The truck then jerked and shifted to gear 9 and jerk again then shifted back to gear 10. This happen for about 10 to 15 minutes and back to normal. During this time the truck loss the ability to accelerate. This happen during the cruise control engaged and also happen without the cruise control engaged. When this happen, the truck had about 35,000 miles and it happened during a road trip from Southern California to Flagstaff, AZ. The problem also happened on the way home. The problem was not observed as the truck travel at 65 mph or less.

    I have now had BOTH sides of my rear axle bolts shear off. Both times discovered while rotating tires, the head of the axle bolts were completely broken off

There was no warning light illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that the transmission was slipping while driving.     The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was a message to "Check Headlamps - See Owner's Manual" was displayed. The vehicle was then taken to a local dealer on two occasions; however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was advised to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The approximate failure mileage was 4,500.
