Driving on highway when all warning lights came on the dash, including the messages: AdvanceTrac Off Collision Assist Off Parking Break On Service System Soon. My brakes and accelerator stopped working, and the car immediately started slowing down. I started pulling over but didn't even make it all the way out of the lane. I changed gears, but could not go Forward, emergency brake was on but wouldn't let me turn it off. It did let me put my hazards on. I kept attempting to change gears, and eventually the emergency brake went off and I could shift into drive and pull out of the highway lane. The truck was towed to the shop, and they told me on the phone there was an open recall on the emergency brake. They have not figured out the problem or been able to replicate the issue.

I experienced violent vibration of the front end of this vehicle that started 4 months after purchased from factory delivery to dealership. Tires in front went bald at 5000 miles and over the next 3 months vibration in front end worsened, causing excess wear on the second set of tires. Ford Motor Company was unable to get the defective axles replaced due to poor supply and lack of properly diagnosing the issue initially. I belong to a Ford Maverick Club and this issue is widespread with the 2022 and 2023 models with some dealerships telling customers that there is no danger in driving with the defective CV Joints in the front end and others being instructed not to drive until they can be replaced. Neither of the two dealerships that inspected my car were aware of this widespread issue with the front end CV joint defect. I waited 2 months for the axles to arrive at the dealership and needed to replace all four tires when the new axles were installed. My vehicle was only 11 months old with less than 15,000 miles.

The brakes on my 2023 Ford Maverick (Hybrid) are very grabby at low speeds, usually just before coming to a stop. They are also very noisy especially after a hard rain. I have experienced one incident where the brakes did not want to stop the truck until after a long pause. When I stop, my passengers will lunge forward. I do not have confidence that the brakes will perform as required in an emergency situation. I realize that this has been an ongoing problem with the 2022 and 2023 hybrid models.

Water is leaking into the vehicle from the windshield cowl causing mold and wet passenger front carpets. It will be going to the dealer for the third time on Tuesday, December 26th to attempt to fix. The vehicle smells of mold and may be a health hazard. I cannot park it outside without fear the problem will get worse.
