The contact owns a 2021 Forest River Cherokee. The contact stated that he experienced several electrical failures with the trailer including a defective refrigerator. Upon investigation, the contact discovered that the wiring within the circuit breaker panel was not properly secured. Upon further investigation, the contact discovered that the propane wiring was crimped and not properly secured, which he stated could lead to a severe failure. The contact was able to repair the wiring failures himself. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that he would receive a call back. The contact had not received a response despite numerous attempts to reach the manufacturer by phone and email. The dealer was also notified of the failure and denied reimbursement to the contact for the repairs. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000. Consumer stated where it says propane wiring it should say main propane supply line was crimped causing leakage. Issues with electrical and loss of power once in awhile, 12 volt line black unattached.

The contact owns a 2014 Forest River Rockwood Windjammer RV. The contact stated that the welds on the axle were cracked. Additionally, the tires were rubbing on the fender wells. The contact stated that he had experienced six tire blowouts in the past 4 years. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, no further assistance was provided. The failure was mileage was unknown. Consumer stated there is cracked welds and sagging suspension.

The contact owns a 2021 Forest River Salem. The contact stated that the strap hooks in the trailer were screwed to the floor but not the frame; therefore, no items of substantial weight were able be strapped in the trailer which would be used for hauling large items. The contact also stated that the hooks were advertised to hold up to 2300 pounds which he deemed impossible, since the hooks were not strapped to the trailer's frame. The contact had called the manufacturer on numerous occasions and sent several emails; however, the contact had yet to receive a response. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The contact had not experienced a failure.

The contact owns a 2020 Forest River Puma RV. The contact stated while driving 70 mph, the structure underneath the trailer detached from the RV. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated he continued driving to his destination. The contact took the RV to an independent mechanic and was informed that the structure underneath the RV has been replaced. The RV was repaired. The contact called the local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Forest River Shockwave. The contact stated that the kitchen countertop located next to the gas stove was sloped down and sunken inwards causing tension to the liquid petroleum gas lines. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The RV was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 3,000.

Dexter Torsion axle has experienced a sudden failure on one side. Trailer tire/rim has too much negative camber and is almost touching the inner fender. The space between tire and fender on the affected side is 1/2 as much as on the unaffected side of the travel trailer. The travel trailer has NEVER been overloaded and has NEVER hit anything to cause this problem. I do NOT feel safe towing this travel trailer anywhere, including to the dealer. I purchased a 2021 Palomino Solaire 163x in April 2021. The trailer is equipped with a Furrion FAN73B3C Omni directional wing antenna. On the second use the wing came off the base while towing. This same antenna defect is the subject of a recall on Keystone trailers. The problem is clearly broader and should include the antenna itself, whatever trailer/rig it is in, not just the Keystone trailer. My missing wing is no less a hazard because it came from a Palomino rather than Keystone.

The contact owns a 2017 Forest River Cherokee Toy Hauler. The contact stated that he was informed by an independent mechanic that the box on the rooftop of the RV frame had detached and slipped to the passenger’s side of the RV. The contact also stated that the sliding door inside the RV had pierced the ceiling of the RV. The dealer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The RV was taken to a second dealer United RV Center (5100 Airport Fwy, Haltom City, TX 76117) who diagnosed that the substructure of the RV was not cut and aligned properly which caused the box on the rooftop to slip due to vibration while driving the RV. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the RV was out of warranty. The RV was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

While driving this 2021 Travel Trailer down the road the underbelly blew out of the bottom of the trailer. This is causing air now to push up underneath the travel trailer possibly causing further damage to the walls and flooring of the trailer.

The contact owns a 2021 Forest River Sierra fifth wheel trailer. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 mph, the trailer brakes failed to engage while the brake pedal was depressed. The contact stated that the "trailer wiring fault" message was displayed. The vehicle was diagnosed and repaired. The manufacturer was informed of failure and was awaiting a response.
