“Service Driver Assist System” message appears every time I turn on my truck. Vehicle would randomly break when driving at slow speeds and show the forward collision alert even if no objects/ car are approaching or being approached. I am concerned about my safety because those sudden hard-breaks could cause an accident.

While driving west on Hwy 20, near Augusta, GA my vehicle motor blew without any warning. I had to guide my dead but rolling truck and trailer to the side of the Hwy against a high retaining wall. The truck shut down and set the brakes after stopping and would not restart, shift into neutral, or move without special two equipment. **when I received the first recall notice I call my GMC dealer and they said their was nothing they could do yet. Later I received a second notice and responded to GMC dealer where the changed the oil and cap. A few weeks/months after that the motor blew. GM has refused to be any help and replacement motor has been on back order for 3 weeks and counting.

The front upper grille broke off and detached at highway speeds. The grille impacted the hood, causing a scratch and dent and became a road hazard and has the potential to cause an accident. This is the same failure reported in NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V-060 that only covers 2022 model years. Research online indicates failures in 2022, 2023 and 2024 vehicles. GMC to date will not warranty or recall this gross safety violation.

While driving a "Service Transmission" message appears on the information center. The truck shifts slowly, sometimes slamming into gear, doesn't seem to have smooth acceleration through the gears until a high gear is reached. Unusual sounds occur during the shifting sequence. The vehicle was dropped off at the dealer for service. Dealer claims that since they were not able to duplicate the conditions reported to them, the vehicle was fine and not in need of any further investigation or service. Transmission problems are a known concern with vehicle as recalls have been expanded to include this class of truck in the recall but GM is not including this vehicle.

At speeds of 65-75, both with the adaptive cruise control enabled and disabled, I accelerated a little bit to pick up speed and pass another vehicle. The vehicle responded initially by gaining speed, then it feels like I hit something and the front brakes lock up for 1-2 seconds and the tires start screeching from sliding, then everything resumes to normal. I was very shocked during a recent roadtrip when this happened 4-5 times. I feel like my safety and my family’s safety is at risk and of the 2 dealerships I called, they don’t prioritize it and make it seem like a minor repair.

I am reporting a safety-related defect involving the blind zone alert system. The system failed repeatedly and required multiple service visits. Initial repairs did not resolve the issue. The dealership ultimately determined the cause to be a faulty wiring harness, which has now been replaced and appears to have corrected the issue. Safety Concern: Failure of a critical safety system Increased risk during lane changes Issue persisted across multiple repair attempts Additional Concern: The delay in identifying the defect required multiple service visits and resulted in significant out-of-pocket costs. Request: Investigation into: Wiring harness defects affecting safety systems Reliability of blind zone monitoring systems

While driving 65mph in my 2024 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate on Interstate 270 in Hilliard, Ohio my chrome grill deflector just flew off and hit my windshield. It then went over my truck and almost caused a major accident with the cars and semi-trucks behind me. I was lucky to maintain control of my own vehicle! It appears to me that the mounting fractured and it looks like manufacturing defect. Looks like the same issues recalled in 2022 year models. How many have to die before GM fixes this issue? They now want $1,500 for a new grill on my 2024 truck.
