Blown head gasket between cylinders 2 and 3 at only 100k miles. Leaking coolant and causing overheating

The turbo charger. The vehicle is currently at the dealership where it was made known that many other similar vehicles are experiencing this issue with no cause. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealer. This issues occurred 1 week ago. All the warning lights came up out of no where. Took it to two different places where they confirmed it was code P0299.

I have been having issues with my check engine light being on for about 6 months now. Took the car to Honda to get it diagnosed and was told that I needed to get spark plugs, fuel injectors, and ignition coils. Got all of that changed and the issues still remains. Had an outside mechanic take a look and he specializes in Hondas and was told that it is the head gasket, and that would be the only way the issue will get resolved. After taking the car to Honda 2 times and paying for diagnosis with the issue still there. I was getting on the interstate and my car just started stalling, had to immediately pull over before getting hit. I was quoted $3000 to have the head gasket done. This obviously is an ongoing issue with my model Hondas, and I am already out of pocket $1000 with the issue not even being resolved.

Our mechanic, Buttons Auto in [XXX], diagnosed the loss of power, misfiring engine and anti freeze in the head cylnder # 3 with code P0304 and his conclusion was a blown head gasket. We took our car to the dealer, Mansfield Motor Group. Buttons also mentioned there was a pending class action suit against Honda for head gasket failure on our model with the1.5 liter motor. Mansfield Motor Group misdiagnosed the cars issue and charge us $2100 for the repair. A couple days after we got the car back the problems continued. We took it back to the dealer and they then diagnosed the isuue as head gasket failure. We spent another $4600 to fix the headgasket repair A total of $6100 we spent. I have owned my Honda Accord for under a year, puchased around 100k miles. My head gasket blew at 118k miles. There was no overheating of the engine or warning lights before hand, my car was idling after work and I turned it on and then I had about 5 different warning lights on. I find out that it was a cylinder 2 misfire and took it to Joyce Koons Honda for them to inform me of a head gasket failure and quoted me for around $7,000.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a recurring issue I have experienced with the head gasket in my vehicle. I have owned several vehicles of this make and model, and I have observed a troubling pattern of blown head gaskets that has not been adequately addressed. Specifically, my current vehicle has suffered from this problem, resulting in significant inconvenience and additional repair costs. This issue appears to be prevalent across this year model as well, suggesting a potential design flaw or manufacturing defect that warrants further investigation. I respectfully someone to look into this matter to determine if a broader safety concern exists that needs to be addressed. The Honda Accord Infotainment system is constantly “ghost touching”. It will select buttons on the screen that I never touched. It is incredibly distracting as it happens while I’m driving and the screen changes rapidly. It also will turn off my GPS while I’m driving so I suddenly no longer no where I’m going. This problem began occurring when the screen was replaced by the dealership and I made them aware promptly but they said if I can’t reproduce it there’s nothing they can do, and this happens randomly. It happens without warning. It happens daily now at all times the car is on.

The head gasket failed. Dealer diagnostic was performed and they determined leak of coolant into cylinder number 3. All maintenance done on car. No reason to fail. Further internet search shows that the head gasket failure on the 2018 accord 1.5 turbo seems to be a common issue and therefore a manufacturer defect. Yes it is available upon request. When accelerating the car will stall and lose power. Merging on to the highway the car would not move faster than 20mph and could have caused vehicles behind me to hit me. Yes, the problem was identified and reproduced by the dealer. Yes, the vehicle was inspected and serviced but upon receiving vehicle back, problem remained. The only symptoms present was a rough cold start and intermittent rough idle. The check engine light appeared only once the loss of power occurred.

Head gasket seal broken, leading to coolant leak into the engine causing misfire

Vehicle has only 48,037 miles. Diagnosed with bad cylinders 1 and 2 . Coolant also contaminated cylinders. I took vehicle to Autonation Honda Corpus Christi twice before the diagnosis. Vehicle was running rough. When first turn on engine especially when it is cold, there's a lot of engine shakes. Same as in when on idle. Technician said he could not duplicate problem but did not perform diagnostics. Vehicle was released. New coolant was added because Tech said it was low, brake fluids flushed, new sway bars were installed and wheel alignment performed. After a week, all engine lights came on while driving at 30 mph. Stopped the vehicle and get towed to the dealership. Diagnostics: blown head gasket, bad cylinders and needed new engine. Did a research and these were the Accord problems that were never addressed by Honda. Problems also included Turbos and Fuel injectors.
