2022 HONDA CR-V- Gastonia, NC
The above would not let me check ALL of the boxes. I’m having continued problems with my 2022 Honda CRV Hybrid Touring, with every warning light on the car all of a sudden starts flashing and eventually the car looses complete power. This is the third time it has happened to me, and after taking it to two different Honda dealerships, no one can tell me what is going on, and then they send me back out on the road, only for it to happen again. Every warning light on the car lights up and every bell goes off. Yet, no one can tell me a thing! It’s resulted in me being stranded and the car inoperable.

2022 HONDA CR-V- Germantown, TN
While driving on a straight road at 35 mph the car suddenly and aggressively applied the brakes without driver input and without another car or obstacle in front of the car. Had there been a car behind me a rear collision would have been likely. The weather was sunny and there were deep shadows of trees cast on the road. This is the fourth time this has happened the past year. This is my first report to NHTSA.

2022 HONDA CR-V- Morrisdale, PA
Driving in mild foggy conditions, going 44 mph. My CRV dash had the BRAKE warning flashing and locked up my brakes. There was nothing in front of me do cause this. There was a car behind me that could of hit me. Everything in my car flew off the seats and it jarred my neck and back. My lowered back has been hurting and I am seriously concerned for my safety in this vehcle.

2022 HONDA CR-V- Fishers, IN
The steering sticks and makes a noise intermittently when turning the steering wheel. You cannot count on a smooth turn when turning. The dealership verified this and said the steering gear had to be replaced. While there are countless Honda CRV complaints about this, on several model years, including mine ,and a recall on some of the VIN's, my VIN was not included. Honda recall would not help with this issue. Had to pay to have the dealership replace the steering gear, at a "discounted rate of $1444.25. My vehicle only has 19, 497 miles on it.

2022 HONDA CR-V- Elk Grove, CA
The automatic braking system is repeatedly braking inappropriately, with nothing in front of us or in the road. We have not gotten into an accident yet but have come close twice. The Honda dealership in Elk Grove, CA acted like this was normal and it “could be a leaf or pebble” and there’s nothing they can fix because it’s normal. This is not normal. It’s dangerous.

The steering seems to get a sticky feel after driving for a while. The steering wheel will get a sticky feel while a slight turn in the road and it will happen either turning left or right. Then on the highway it seems to happen so you can't keep the car going straight.

2022 HONDA CR-V- Soldotna, AK
I am writing to formally report a serious safety incident involving my [2022 Honda CRV], which is currently under warranty. On [XXX], while my wife was driving along the [XXX] from Soldotna to Anchorage, Alaska, the sunroof of my vehicle spontaneously exploded without any external impact or provocation. At the time of the incident: The temperature was approximately 65°F, eliminating thermal stress as a factor. There were no other vehicles nearby and no overhead obstructions. A Thule rooftop cargo carrier was mounted above the sunroof, providing a physical barrier that would have prevented any object from striking the glass. The vehicle has fewer than 30,000 miles and is less than three years old, qualifying it for coverage under Honda’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty. The explosion resulted in shattered glass raining into the top, creating a hazardous situation while driving. This incident appears consistent with other reports and complaints involving spontaneous sunroof explosions in Honda vehicles, some of which have led to legal action and consumer s INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2022 HONDA CR-V- Scottsdale, AZ
I was driving at 10am today on a local road, about 35mph, with no car in front of me, nor behind me. I was the only car in the area. Suddenly both the automatic emergency braking (AEB) system and the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) were activated. I was concerned when it happened, not knowing if the car would come to a stop. I called my local Honda Dealer Service Department, asking if they could check it out. He said they could take it for a test drive to see if it would happen again. Since this was the only time it happened we agreed to wait to see if it happens again before bringing it in. Once home I searched the NHTSA database and discovered similar instances, and an open Investigation, EA24002. I wanted to be sure to add my incident to the others to help in finding a resolution.

2022 HONDA CR-V HYBRID- Clarkston, MI
My car quickly became unable to be driven safely when the steering started to fail. It started with a feeling of the tires sticking to the road when trying to make small adjustments to position with the steering wheel. I was not able to maintain a straight line drive without the constant small jerks associated with the sticky feeling. The steering quickly deteriorated to the point of barely being able to keep the car on the road because of the inability to steer. The issue was confirmed by the dealer and the driveshaft components replaced, at my expense. I was told that there is a known defect in the 2022 CRV hybrids but my VIN was not included in the recall for some reason. There were no warning lamps or messages during the failure.
