My CRV TOURING 2018 has a little over 23,000 miles. I started the car and all of the safety lights come on as malfunctioning. I could not get the vehicle to back up out of the garage. I never put the brakes on. I finally was able to get it out of the garage and to the dealership. Two of the personnel at the dealership said they had never seen that many lights on the dash come on and some they had never seen. This is the second battery that has been put into the car and the charge was good. The car was looked at for several hours. They did not know what was wrong and reset the system some how and I went home. The paperwork said I told them the car was hard to start which I never said. Three days later upon starting the car all of the same lights and warnings came on. This time I was able to back up with no issues. I went straight to the dealer and asked them to do an ECU check. They said it could be the fuel injectors; however could not guarantee that would solve the problem with all the lights coming on. Had the car all day and came back with about 7 codes. I had to ask what the codes were as they had not been written down on my statement. I wrote them down and looked them up that night. Two of them were under warranty. The mechanic did not know the two codes were under warranty and did not look into it further. I took the car in for the third time and had the codes updated and checked. One was for the injectors which they said failed. The other was a check for spark plugs, etc. to help eliminate the source of problem. Again, they said the problem was the injectors and the cost to repair would be $2,200.00. I have requested a Good Will Repair which was over three weeks ago. Honda North America said the District Manager would be handling it and then I was told that the District Manager would let the Service Manager at Honda dealership handle it. That person has not returned my calls. I am not driving my car much and really need it badly.

The Audio Display screen will occasionally start dimming, changing functions, and continually beeping. There are no warning messages or lamps connected with this failure; it just happens randomly. This can be very dangerous if one is using GPS as a navigational aid as I often do and the Audio Display screen fails at a critical time. This problem has been reported by many CR-V owners. Examples of the failure are on YouTube. I have reported the problem to my dealer and will be taking it in to see if they can fix it soon.

The sunroof exploded on November 22, 2021. It happened as I drove under an overpass, so I thought it was the result of something falling on to it. But when the repairman couldn’t find anything within the glass, I didn’t know what to think. Then I saw a story, that was done in 2012, about exploding sunroofs on the news. My experience was similar to that of the people interviewed. The sunroof has been replaced by my insurance.

Online you can see everyone seems to have this problem to the point there's a class action suit going on I think. My battery died several times while still under warranty but the dealer said this is NORMAL for it to die after sitting for a week and some / many die after 3 days!! I feel this is VERY dangerous! What if it dies after say a trip and you're off site parked in a bad area? Or in bad weather? They did not replace and of course as soon as the warranty ran out it died for good and I had to replace it. I feel this should be looked into as a serious problem. Jim PS - I had reported a problem w/ the collision system a year or two ago....it's still fluky. Just this week it auto slammed on the brakes when I truck was on a bend in front of me so it thought I was going to hit him?? Then it happened on an Interstate! A vehicle coming on via the onramp triggered it at 70 MPH! Not a slam though but scary.

The driver's side sun visor will not stay up in the correct position it keeps falling down causing visibility issues. when I'm going down the interstate at 70 miles an hour and The driver side sun visor decides to just go from the correct position and fall down into my line of view especially at night there's a couple of seconds there where my eyes get taken off the road to deal with it and that shouldn't happen. I consider this to say the issue it's no different than your phone ringing and looking down to see who's calling because when it just falls down in front of your face those couple of seconds something could happen. I get my Honda CRV serviced regularly at the dealership and I've mentioned it to them and they've offered to let me order one and pay for it and they would put it home but I'm still paying the car off. So I guess my only option is just to take it off completely not replace it and then just hope that the sun isn't really bright one day and calls me to get an accident because I'm blinded because I don't have a sun visor anymore

The driver side sun visor does not fully engage to its upright position. It hangs too low and partially obstructing my view while driving.

Sun visor will not go back to its upright position. It is set about 5 to 6 inches below where it should be. Leading edge is at about forehead level and has a hard frame (would not be fun in an accident). Issue was first noticed after a few months of use. I recently mentioned the condition to the dealer and they indicated that others have experienced the same condition. They are ordering a replacement visor.
