Fuel contamination leads to the dilution of my engine oil. I perform my own oil changes, ensuring the engine is filled to 50% on the dipstick. Typically, after 4 to 5 months, the dipstick indicates the oil level at FULL due to fuel contamination. This causes me to change the oil to prevent excessive engine wear caused by dilution. This problem started ever since I purchased the SUV (2019 Honda CRV EX) new on 8/31/2019.

A little over two weeks ago we took our 2019 Honda CRV to the dealership because all the indicator lights were lighting up on the dashboard. It started as I was sitting in the car with the car idling as I waited for my husband to come out of the store. We took a short video of what it was doing. The car was at the dealership the next day, but there were no indicator lights like the previous day. We shared the video with the service rep. When we picked it up we were told the fuel injectors needed to be replaced and it would cost in excess of $2,300. The car has less than 78,000 miles on it. The service rep said that if it was his car he would not drive it a distance (freeway) with this problem. That says to me that it is a safety issue. We had been concerned that it could be an electrical issue because the car was in a front-end, side-swipe collision in November 2023, and we had just gotten it back from repairs at the dealership two weeks before the indicator lights problem. The service rep assured us it was not an electrical problem. I looked up the problem on the internet. On [XXX] there were a number of other Honda CRV owners with the same problem at about the same mileage. Our safety is at risk with possible risk to friends and family because we need to drive on the freeway for daily activities. We took it to an independent automotive service location. They did not come to the same conclusion; the indicator lights were no longer on. This vehicle component has not been inspected by any others, other than already mentioned. Starting at just over 36,000 miles after the last time I used LKAS there is now a stickiness in the steering. Light catches that almost seem like the LKAS is still trying to correct. I can overcome the catches, but makes the steering less comfortable than it should be and worry about worsening issue. Will be taking the car in for service but have seen may issues related to steering on this model of car, so wanted to make sure all complaints are noted by NHTSA. No warning lights are showing.

I received the initial msg sending from the rental platform Turo on 12/18/2023 stating that my car has to be unlisted due to FUEL PUMP NOT TO RESALE, since then I have been contacting my local HONDA dealerships all over and see what repairs I need to get it fixed. It has been more than a month, no any advisors contacted me yet, nor any dealerships has the part yet. Everytime I call, they said it is safe to drive, but when I ask for the paperwork/ clarification letter that Turo required in order to relist my car, no one was able to help. This inconvenience has been a huge financial lost as a Turo host. I don't get any update, not even an official letter for more than a month. As far as I received the initial Turo msg, I had been driving normally, nothing weird happened. So my questions are : 1. How long would take Honda to get the part ordered? 2. If it is safe to drive, who shall have the access to get me a letter to satisfy Turo? 3. If it is not safe to drive, should Honda replace a temporary car for me to drive without any charge? Thank you

The AEB system has malfunctioned on two occasions while driving the vehicle. Yes, the safety of myself & others was put at risk. The problem has not been confirmed by the dealer, but I plan on contacting the dealership this week to inform them of the issue and get more information on how to fix this problem. There has been no warning messages or other symptoms of the problem before. On both occasions where the AEB system malfunctioned, the dashboard screen lit up and said "brake" even though there was no traffic in front of my vehicle. The first time this happened was about a month ago, and the second occasion happened just yesterday afternoon.
