2024 HONDA PROLOGUE- Saint Johns, FL
My front end suspension started making a popping noise. I took it to my local Honda dealer and they said it was a known issue but we don’t have any directive to fix or replace any parts yet. They also said that it’s safe to drive with this condition. I disagree, and expect a recall to be tied to my vin number and many others to force Honda and GM to get it resolved asap before our warranties are up. What has happened to our civil rights? Our lemon law? What if our front end gives away while driving at highway speeds?

The front axel makes a terrible clicking or clunking sound when turning. This seems to be a common problem with these cars and my concern it the axel will break or wear down to the point of failure.

2024 HONDA PROLOGUE- Wayne, NJ
Direct cause - Unknown. What I do know however was that the automatic emergency break system on my vehicle was activated, causing the vehicle to stop in the middle of driving. This resulted in the vehicle behind me hitting my car. Prior to the incident occurring, no warning indicators (lamps, messages, etc.) came from the dashboard. The vehicle just stopped. Immediately after this accident occurred. I turned off the forward collision safety feature, as I was scared of the issue (vehicle stopping) repeating itself. To date, my vehicle has not been repaired or my insurance agency contacted, as I do not believe I should be held responsible for the cost of this repair.

Front axles/CV Joints make a crunching noise at low speeds when turning left or right. 2024 Honda Prologue with less than 5,500 miles on it. I'm afraid this may become a safety issue the more I drive the vehicle. I have not had the vehicle inspected yet at a dealer or otherwise, but I've noticed this issue reported in multiple Honda Prologue forums. There are no warning lights, but the noise coming from both wheel wells is consistant and noticeable.

2024 HONDA PROLOGUE- Pittsford , NY
The front axles in my 2024 Honda prologue touring model four-wheel drive I have been clicking and making noises even before 1,000 miles. I have spoken to the dealer several times and Honda as well two times. I do not know if this is dangerous but it seems dangerous to me. I am used to driving older vehicles that I maintain to almost new standards. I am honestly more nervous about driving this car at highway speeds than my 2006 BMW 330 I with 155,000 mi. I have been told that there is no fix for the situation at this point. I purchased a Honda the second brand new one in one year believing this was a great company that would stand by their product. My other vehicle is a 2024 Honda CRV touring model hybrid. I completely love this vehicle. I am now believing that they are not such a great company and they have made a mistake with this vehicle. I realize that this is not made by Honda but it is sold by Honda and they should not be so negligent in dealing with these issues. It is all over the internet that this car has problems and it seems that no one is dealing with it. Can you please help! Thank you for your help in this matter. The issues I am experiencing for approximately the past five to six months include:- Forward Collision System showing the message “Forward Collision System Unavailable.” Adaptive Cruise Control displaying “Adaptive Cruise Temporarily Unavailable.” Rear parking safety system applying sudden braking even when there is no pedestrian, vehicle, or object nearby. Even when the system is set to “Alert Only,” the vehicle still applies the brake unexpectedly.

2024 HONDA PROLOGUE- Pleasanton, CA
The vehicle produces a ratcheting / clicking sound from the front axle area when turning the steering wheel, especially during low-speed turns such as pulling out of a parking space or making sharp turns. The sound appears to originate from the front drive axle or CV joint area. The noise is repetitive and occurs when the vehicle is under light acceleration while the wheels are turned. This problem has been widely reported by other Honda Prologue owners and appears related to defective front drive axles or CV joints. There are reports and a current lawsuit alleging that the 2024–2026 Honda Prologue vehicles have axle defects causing clicking or ratcheting noises when turning. I am concerned that the drivetrain component may fail prematurely and potentially affect steering or vehicle control. Because this involves the axle and drivetrain, it may represent a safety risk if the component degrades or fails while the vehicle is in motion. I am submitting this complaint so the issue can be investigated for potential safety defects affecting Honda Prologue vehicles.
