Beginning at 9000 miles, clicking began when taking right and left turns. I have had 8 axle replacements and still the issue is not repaired.

A loud clicking and popping sound while turning the car at low speeds, attributed most likely to the CV joint. The sound is happening more and more frequently.

2024 HONDA PROLOGUE- GLENARDEN, MD
My 2024 Honda Prologue produces a rhythmic clicking and rattling noise from the front axle area whenever I make low-speed left or right turns. The sound is tied to wheel rotation and is most noticeable during sharper turns such as entering or exiting a parking space. The noise is reproducible on every drive and began early in the vehicle’s life. It appears consistent with the widely reported front CV joint/axle defect affecting other Prologue owners, many of whom describe the same clicking or ratcheting noise during turns. Honda has issued internal guidance acknowledging this symptom and advising dealers that the issue is under investigation. Because this involves the front drive axle/CV joint assembly, there is concern about premature wear or potential failure of a critical steering and drivetrain component, which could pose a safety risk if the condition worsens. Often at times when turning, I hear a clicking noise. Was informed it could be CV joints. Went to Honda and was told they can't do nothing about it at this time.

2024 HONDA PROLOGUE- Hollywood, FL
The cv axle makes a very loud clicking noise when turning and is actively getting worse. Honda has done nothing to ensure my safety in this car and I with experience in vehicles know the cars cv components are due to fail at some point.

2024 HONDA PROLOGUE- Centennial, CO
My vehicle began producing loud clicking and popping noises from the front drivetrain during low-speed turns and acceleration around October 2025 at approximately 8,000 miles. I brought the vehicle to a Honda dealership for inspection, where the service department confirmed that both front CV axles were defective and recommended replacement. The replacement parts were initially backordered but have since arrived at the dealership. However, Honda has informed the dealer that the company is currently investigating this issue and does not consider it a safety concern at this time, and dealers have been instructed not to replace the axles unless there is obvious physical damage. As a result, the dealership has not repaired the vehicle despite diagnosing both axles as defective. I am concerned that premature failure of both front axles could lead to drivetrain malfunction or loss of power to the wheels while driving.

2024 HONDA PROLOGUE- Staten Island, NY
When turning left or right, the vehicle produces a distinct clicking sound from the front drivetrain or steering area. This issue was first noticed on January 22, 2025 and has continued to occur since that time. I have reported the problem to the dealership on multiple occasions; however, the concern is no longer being documented on my service receipts despite my attempts to have it addressed. The persistent clicking noise raises concern about a possible defect involving the axle, CV joint, steering components, or the electric drivetrain system. If a related component were to fail while the vehicle is in motion, it could result in loss of propulsion, steering impairment, or sudden mechanical failure during a turn, increasing the risk of a crash. The dealership has indicated that the manufacturer is aware of the issue but has not yet provided a repair remedy or guidance to the service center, leaving the vehicle operating with a potentially unresolved mechanical defect.

2024 HONDA PROLOGUE- West Windsor Township, NJ
I have a 2024 Honda Prologue that has 8000 miles. When making left turns, the car has made very loud and clicking noises from the front axles that are very disturbing and startled me while driving. It occurred again. I am taking the car to the dealer for inspection. But it has been confirmed by the dealer that there is an axle problem and they have not been able to get the right part to repair/replace. There were no warning issues prior to the incident. My passengers and I were jarred by the loud noise but we were all seatbelted.
