2024 HONDA PROLOGUE Complaints

Clicking noises when turning. Dealership no longer fixing (fixed passenger side, driver side still unrepaired). Front end collision breaking happening at random, causing unsafe breaking in the middle of the road. Also frequently happening when releasing break at stop light, narrowly avoiding multiple rear end collisions due to breaks being slammed on by vehicle collision system. Now with high voltage battery failure message, blowing cold air out of hvac system and performing at reduced acceleration.

On multiple occasions the alert for either the forward or rear collision warning system will sound with nothing either in front of or behind the vehicle. In these cases, the car automatically braked and brought the car to a stop in the middle of my driving. The component is not available for inspection. This puts myself and others at risk by completely overriding my ability to control the vehicle until I am able to put the car back in gear and begin moving again. It completely immobilizes the car for several seconds. It is also a safety hazard because I have been forced to turn off the automatic braking for both the front and rear collision warning systems. This problem has not been confirmed by the dealer, nor have any of the parts been inspected by those listed above. There were no warnings or messages before the problem began.

According to my research the part that has failed in the CV joint for my right front wheel. This was made evident to me by an occasional clicking noise when I turn and accelerate. The part is not available for inspection. So far, it has not put myself or others at risk. The problem has not been confirmed by a dealer. Neither the vehicle nor the component has been inspected by those you listed above. There have been no warnings or other symptoms before the CV joint failed and the clicking noise began.

This vehicle is experiencing constant malfunctions with the infotainment system. It constantly flickers, freezes, and blacks out completely during normal driving conditions. This is prohibiting use of features controlled by the unit including charge settings and rear camera use. This has been a constant issue with this car and has been checked by Honda Henderson multiple times and all attempts have failed to resolve.

Loud Clicking sound when the steering wheel is turned to the left. The axles are making a Clicking sound.

I am submitting this complaint regarding a recurring safety defect in my 2024 Honda Prologue (VIN: [XXX] ), serviced at AutoNation Honda Chandler in Chandler, Arizona. Most recent service reference: Invoice #XXX. The vehicle has experienced a repeated knocking noise coming from the right front wheel area, particularly when turning right or left at low speeds with the steering wheel fully turned. The dealership diagnosed the issue as a failure of the front wheel drive half shaft (outboard passenger axle) and replaced the component. This same part has now failed three times. Despite multiple repairs and part replacements, the problem continues to return. The front axle/half shaft is a critical drivetrain component, and failure of this part can affect steering control and vehicle stability, especially during turning. Between all service visits, my vehicle has been at the dealership for nearly one month in total. Most recently, my third appointment was canceled, and I was informed that there is currently no solution available for this issue. I am extremely concerned about the safety of operating this vehicle due to the repeated failure of the same drivetrain component and the lack of a permanent repair. This ongoing situation has caused significant stress and raises serious safety concerns. I am requesting that this matter be investigated, as it appears to be a recurring defect affecting a critical vehicle component. Cv joints clicking when turning right or left. Dealer said it was normal. Battery not charging at superchargers after long distance travel on hwy.

My honda prologue has just hit the 4000 miles I've own this car for 6 days only driven it for 200 miles and the cv joint is going out it clicks when I turn sharp right and when I reverse.

DRIVE AXLE MAKE CLICKING SOUNDS WHEN TURNING, POSSIBLE LOCKING UP WHILE DRIVING. INSPECTED BY HONDA. STATED KNOWN PROBLEM WITH NO FIX IN PLACE BY MANUFACTURER.

December 2024 (3405 miles on vehicle): front axles started making clicking noises. Went to dealer and was told that axles were on backorder. March 2025 (5180 miles on vehicle): one axle was replaced. Was told other axle was on backorder. November 2025 (14331 miles on vehicle): went to dealer again to have axles looked at, since Honda had no record of axles being on backorder. Axles ordered again. January 2026 (15146 miles on vehicle): went to dealer for axles replacement. Honda told dealer that axles should not be replaced, as the issue is being investigated by Honda. Vehicle continues to make very loud clicking noises when turning, and excessive clunking when slowing down and turning. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Front axles, yes. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The vehicle drives ok but makes tons of noise and it is very concerning. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Unknown. Vehicle has been at the dealer several times for the same issue. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? Clicking and clunking. Noises have remained from 3000 miles on (vehicle now has 16000 miles).
