2024 HONDA PROLOGUE Complaints

Well i bought this Brand New car from HONDA PLANET in NJ UNION 2024 August have been have this issues with axles making clicking noises also when Stopping Suddenly in Reverse this is not normal have been taken to the dealership since i bought this car and its getting crazy for me for my comfort because i bought this car for my comfort use not to be feeling uncomfortable and not safe driving this car

Vehicle Make: Honda Model: Prologue Year: 2024 VIN: [XXX] Description of the issue: I own a 2024 Honda Prologue (VIN [XXX] ) with approximately 7,500 miles. I began noticing a clacking or clicking sound when turning the steering wheel fully left or right. There is also visible grease on the inside of the front wheels, indicating a possible failure in the axle system. I took the vehicle to Honda White Plains, where I was informed that the front axles must be replaced. The issue is reportedly covered under warranty, but the dealership is waiting for Honda’s approval to proceed with the replacement. I am filing this report because I am concerned about potential safety implications related to steering or suspension, and to document this issue in case other owners are experiencing similar failures. honda dealership replaced left front and right front axels for clinking noise less than two months ago but same issue. When you push acceleration pedal, it makes clinking noise. Honda service manager told me that they are replacing with same part number. They are not really fixing the problem but just put temporary bandage on the car. Please have honda manufacture to recall on front axels with updated part. Thank you

I got in my car and received the following error messages immediately upon turning on the car: - Brake System Failure 43 MPH Max Speed - Brake Assist Failure. Press hard to brake. Speed limited. - Service Stabilitrak - Auto Hold Unavailable Driving the car was very unsafe as the brakes were extremely difficult to engage, taking my full body force to fully depress the pedal and have the brakes slowly engage. I have taken the car to my Honda Dealership, which (at this time) has been unable to replicate the issue or find a problem. This is a safety issue to have unresolved, as the brakes suddenly becoming extremely difficult to work makes the car unsafe to drive.

While driving my 2024 Honda Prologue, the automatic emergency braking system (part of Honda's Collision Mitigation Braking System) has activated unexpectedly and forcefully multiple times — with no obstacle or vehicle ahead. The most serious incident occurred on [insert date], while traveling at approximately [insert speed] mph. The vehicle suddenly slammed on the brakes without warning or any visible threat in the road. The sudden stop caused whiplash injuries to my wife and two children, who were passengers in the vehicle. We did not crash, but the vehicle behind us narrowly avoided rear-ending us. I have attempted to get the vehicle serviced, but the nearest dealership told me there is a wait time of over a month, so no diagnostic has yet been performed. Given the potential severity of this defect — especially involving passenger injuries and potential crashes — I am deeply concerned. Many other Honda owners have reported similar phantom braking behavior across multiple models, and I believe this defect needs to be investigated urgently by NHTSA. Honda has not issued a recall or provided public guidance on how to disable or address the system, leaving drivers at risk.

Seems like cv joint issue. Every turn you make with the prologue there is a clicking sound. It happens on a left and right turn and sounds like clicking or tapping noise.

When backing up randomly puts emergency brake on. In return you get whiplash. The car will then not move forward or back have to shut it off. It takes about 3 times for it to work again. The wipes with rain sensing on come on when hardly any rain but pouring and never turn on. The ev does not hold a charge for highway. Trip was 154 I had 280 on charge dies at 145.

Car makes loud clicking noise while making turns. Steering doesn’t come back after making steep turns. Car dealership says they have no remedy to repair the problem.

Vehicle drive shaft making a clicking sound at the CV joint when making a left hand turn. Problem started at 10,000 miles.
