The buttons for changing songs have not worked at random times after turning on the vehicle. Also the car has had some problems when it comes to detecting a vehicle in front causing the car to slow down when in adaptive cruise control

I am writing to express my serious concern regarding an ongoing issue with my vehicle, which began pulling to the left at around 3,500 miles. I promptly brought my vehicle to Bay Ridge Honda's service department for inspection, where I was advised to return when the regional service technician was available for a more thorough diagnosis. I returned to the service department at 6,600 miles, and after lifting the vehicle and conducting an inspection, the technician performed a road test. He identified a problem with the front axle, stating that it would need to be replaced. However, the technician also indicated that replacing the axle would not resolve the issue, as the same problem would likely recur within 700 miles. He further explained that the only way to permanently address this issue would be for Honda to issue a recall for the faulty component. Given that this problem concerns a critical safety feature of the vehicle, I am extremely concerned about driving a vehicle that may be unsafe. This is particularly troubling, as I purchased the vehicle brand new and have taken no action to cause this issue. The prospect of continuing to drive a vehicle with a component integral to both the safety and daily operation of the car is unacceptable. I would greatly appreciate your urgent attention to this matter and would like to explore any potential solutions that may be available in the interim. My primary concern is ensuring the safety of both myself and others on the road.

Leased the 2024 Honda Prologue EX AWD on [XXX] and attempted to get the HondaLink app setup so I could see the charge level and other vehicle features. Also wanted to select my charging option and access EVGO credits. Received the text link but would not activate. I waited a week before stopping by the dealership to see if it would correct itself. Contact Honda Support and they resent the text link and told me it would take up to 24 hours to activate. I waited 48 hours and called Honda support, I proceeded to tell them that in addition to the app not working the integrated Google Maps was not functioning as it indicated the car was in Mexico, when in fact I was in Virginia. The Honda support person elevated my case to 2nd tier support and they indicated it would be 24 to 48 hours before I would get a response. I talked to tier 2 support person the next day and after some basic troubleshooting they transferred me to OnStar support as none of the OnStar buttons functioned either. After troubleshooting with OnStar they told me that 5he telematics module was probably bad and that I needed to take it to dealership, so 11 days and less 400 miles later I took my vehicle to the dealership. That was late on [XXX]. The dealership contacted me on the following Monday to tell me they need the car a little longer so their technician that was most familiar with the Prologue could look at it on Tuesday. The dealership called me back on Tuesday and said the telematics module needed to be replaced, but it was on a nationwide backorder until the middle or end of March. They did tell me the vehicle was drivable, but my concern is that without OnStar if I was in an accident and incapacitated it wouldn’t be able to contact emergency services. I did receive an update that the part is now expected to arrive April 6th, so my vehicle sits at the dealership still and I have now made 3 payments on it even though I have only driven it for 11 days. There is a loud clicking noise that comes from the front wheels when making a normal accelerated right or left turn. It’s most noticeable when the car has been sitting the cold for a while. Honda says they are aware of the problem but it is not clear if they know how to fix it. Other Prologue owners have been having their axles replaced under warranty.

While driving in traffic, the car unexpectedly applied the brakes and displayed a 'Service High Voltage System' warning on the dashboard. Shortly after, another message appeared: 'Service Vehicle Soon,' followed by 'Reduced Acceleration - Drive with Care.' The car isn't charging and lacks the speed needed to drive on the highway.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The emergency break system abruptly activates. It has happened on reverse and going forward. One of the times it happened while on reverse it was raining so I thought that was the issue but it has happened on other occasions too. While going forward it happens when I am in fact getting close to a car however there is no risk of a crash and the system over reacts. Instead of allowing me to break on my own smoothly it goes to a complete stop unexpectedly. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The sudden breaking hurts my neck and back, and that of my passengers. It also puts my car at risk of getting rearended by the car behind me due to the sudden and complete stop. Ignoring the crying children that get scared by the sudden stop and think there has been an accident. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? No. I emailed the sales rep this morning to complain but no response yet. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No.

Service High Voltage System warning. Have had this come up on my car and I have seen that this is a design issue with the battery cooling system. I am glad that the car did not just shut off while I was driving. Honda/GM need to make this car right. And this issue is happening to everyone. Please help us.
