I turned right into my driveway at a slow speed. As I went onto the driveway, the car surged forward. To avoid driving into the garage door, I turned to the left to drive along the side of my house thinking I would be able to stop it. I kept hitting the break but the car kept going. When the vehicle did not stop, I steered to the right because I thought it could be possible that my neighbor's dog could be in the adjacent yard (to the left of my house) The ground between the houses is pitched down (to the left) towards my house and I side-swiped the back half of the side of my house. Although applying the break, my car continued after sideswiping the side of my house with the front right side of my car and went into the house behind my house causing damage to that house. My car stopped when it went into the house behind my house.

HeV and engine light came on while car was in motion and immediately lost power/decelerated, causing traffic hazzard to other potential drivers due to sudden and unexpected change in speed and inability to move car out of road. There were no prior warnings. Car is in shop and available for inspection.

My car broke down on the highway, found oil leaked out. Oil Plug fell off during drive making immediate oil loss which in result caused catastrophic engine failure. Vehicle needs new engine. The car received service maintenance in authorized Hyundai City of Bay Ridge Dealership. Car is less then one years old with only 4500 miles on it and oil plugs are not supposed to fall off the car without any apparent reason.

The contact veered the vehicle off the road and turned the vehicle off and restarted the vehicle. The collision alert and check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed of an unknown issue with the power train however, the contact was informed that failure was corrected independently and that the check engine warning light needed to be reset. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided a case number. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.

AWD warning light illuminated under 20K miles. Took vehicle to dealer, dealer advised that vehicle was unsafe to drive. Unknown ETA on parts or repair time. Dealer did advised that it's a warranty issue. Other circumstances surrounding this issue: Issue 1 6 Weeks ago wife received email from Hyundai indicating vehicle was due for service. Wife took vehicle to dealer, she was turned away and advised that service was required. Issue 2 I phone Hyundai corporate from work where all calls are recorded. Phone system has beeping sound every 30 seconds. Hyundai rep was also advised verbally that calls were recorded. Into the phone call she asked if she was being recorded and I advised her yes. She said that their policy prohibits customers from recording their calls. I asked for copy of that policy that I never received. Issue 3 I then scheduled appointment with same dealership and took time off work. Arrived and was advised internet was down all day and they couldn't service vehicles. Was advised I would receive callback. 3 weeks and never received. Issue 4 Approx 6-8 weeks into this issue and revisited dealership. Within 40 minutes they advised me the vehicle was unsafe to drive. Summary It is believed that the vehicle may have been unsafe to drive for many weeks. Where service facility had opportunity to run diag scan, but never did.

5/17/23 took vehicle to Dick Smith Hyundai for navigation issue, after being asked to park in a different spot brakes failed and car crashed into one of the dealer cars. Since owning the car for over 14 months without any brake issue I thought maybe my foot slipped off the brake. When leaving the dealer I tried braking several times with no issue. 5/26/23 while parking the car at a restaurant the brakes failed me again and was obvious not a slip off the brake that caused the car to collide with a tree saving me and my wife from falling down a steep embankment. Severe damage to front of car. 5/27/23 Called Dick Smith Hyundai to ask about how to remedy an obvious safety issue with the brake, was told that they would not check it out until body repairs are made first and if the issue could be duplicated before Hyundai would be involved. There were no warnings of brake or other issues. This vehicle is UNSAFE to drive after body repairs are made it will have to be towed (at my expense) back to a Hyundai dealer. Police reports on both incidents, GEICO claim put in also. No other inspections at this time. this happened in Greeville SC which is our summer home,

I drive 2022 Hyundai Tucson hyrbrid limited. I have noticed a plastic cluttering noise coming from outside hood area on driver side. This noise is always there at highway speed only. Have already complained to dealership but they act like they are confused and can’t figure out where exactly noise is coming from. Like me many people have complained about this same cluttering problem which nobody has figured out where exactly it’s coming from. But the noise is loud and always there at highway speed. Only way to hide this noise is by playing loud music.

The vehicle has had 2 instances of accelerating extremely fast unexpectedly. Once when I was backing up and lightly pressed the accelerator the car shot backwards in a fast speed. The second time I was parking and lightly pressed the accelerator as I was pulling into the parking spot the car sped super fast crashing my car into the pole and damaging my front car bumper.

I bought a ‘22 Tucson Hybrid in Sept of ‘22. Upon delivery there were issues w paint & a dent on the rear qtr panel. The bigger issue however, is disconnect in communication between the EV motor, gas engine & transmission. All work is done @dealership and well maintained. History of EV over 8 months: @1000 miles noise under vehicle began. Dealership inspected, all checked out. The dealership has done all servicing as scheduled. From 1000 to 12,000 miles, the vehicle drove best if in sport mode. Sport mode utilizes the gas engine and not EV. When in EV modes, the vehicle runs high rpms or it’s sluggish. It’s never consistent. In some instances; the vehicle will actually stall for 2-3 seconds and kick back on. 1 instance was at a stop light, turning left. Mid turn, gas to the floor, the vehicle stalled for 3 seconds before responding. I was almost hit at 50 mph in the intersection as both motors failed me. The next day, 3 lights came on: An EV, check engine and Hybrid motor light came on, 3 total. My Hyundai app stated: issue communicating EV and Gas motor, EMS communication error. This cleared itself in 36 hrs but I couldn’t drive it safely for a week. I took it to the dealership, everything checked out. 3 days ago @ 17,400 miles, I received a text: Hyundai stated car unfit to drive. DTC code U062300, U111200, U02BB0:Powertrain EMS issue. The techs had it 2 days, fixed it. 3 blocks from dealer, check engine light came on again. I returned it to dealer. I’ve found 32 accounts of these codes resulting in a Hyundai buy-back, new engine, new transmission or settlements. I’m told my EV motor, gas engine and transmission won’t communicate even after software / firmware updates & mechanical changes. I don’t feel the vehicle to be roadworthy and I don’t feel safe driving it, if Hyundai has no fix. I’m told, many sales of this model @ my dealer have the same issues. Bad batch? I paid $47k (car & warr) I’m hoping for a buy back or to get into a Toyota hybrid of = value
