2019 INFINITI QX60- Glenview, IL
The Rear right differential side seal failed under 40K miles and car was out of manufacturer warranty and I had to pay to get the seal and bearing replaced. I cannot believe a seal and bearing need to be rep[laced withing 40K miles. I had to replace a seal on the Transfer case last year when the car was still under manufacturer's warranty. My guess is that poor quality of the seals/bearings or improper installation procedures could have led to these early failures and surely warrants an investigation.

Transfer Case leaking. Resealing of Transfer Case was performed under warranty. The vehicle was under warranty and had only 33,000 Miles. It was rather alarming that such transmission/power train issues showed up at such low mileage.

Took the vehicle in to the dealership for an oil change and state inspection. They informed us of the front lower control arms bushings are cracked, torn and need to be replaced. The vehicle is 5 years old with 41,000 miles. I asked the dealership why they would be this way and the service writer stated that it is just the quality of the bushings. Why are the bushings that worn on a vehicle that drives 8,000 miles per year, garage kept and all highway miles?

Transmission failure. The CVT transmission did not engage in gear while driving (on the highway!) I was able to drive in "limp mode" to reputable mechanic in the area. The mechanic flushed the CVT fluid, changed the filters and checked all the electronic codes, but the problem persists. The vehicle will require a new transmission or a rebuild.

My vehicle shut down while driving, my safety, the safety of others was very much at risk as the vehicle shut down with no warnings while driving at a very busy time and roads, cars where honking at me, I have not taken the vehicle to the dealer ship as they were just going to run a diagnosis and charge almost $300 dollars for that however I took my vehicle to Auto Zone they checked it briefly for me and found no error codes but this shut down has now happened twice while driving is very scary. The warning lamp that pop while vehicle shut down was FEB warning light along with the battery light.

When a person leans on the door and at least 200lbs of pressure is applied to the driver's door, in drive, the door will open and all the locks in the car will release.

While driving at approximately 60 mph I heard a loud popping noise. Once I stopped I noticed my sunroof was completely shattered. I was not in traffic and had not gone under any underpasses. This happened all by itself. The car had been inside the garage and my ride was approximately 15-20 minutes.
