2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE Complaints

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V413000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated while the vehicle was receiving routine service at the dealer, he was informed about a recall on the rear coil springs. The contact stated that parts were backordered for over thirty days. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that after leaving the local dealer and driving approximately 35 MPH, the rear coil springs detached. The passenger’s side end of the vehicle dropped towards the ground. There were no reported injuries. The detached parts were recovered by the CHP. The vehicle was towed back to the local dealer, where it was confirmed that the rear coil springs had detached. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V413000 (Suspension). The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.

Power steering stopped working when pulling out of parking spot. Then warnings about blind spot and check engine lights came on.

The uconnect system on this vehicle locks up, glitches and is unresponsive. This makes the hands free function for cell phone use unreliable at best, as well as all touchscreen functions inoperable. The problems with the uconnect systems make driving the car very distracting and potentially unsafe at times. These problems have been inspected by the dealership service department and confirmed not to be normal. The dealership service technicians have attempted to fix these problems four times by replacing two radios, a touchscreen and reloading software. None of these attempts have been successful. The uconnect system has had these issues starting the first week of ownership Nov 2022

While turning left, vehicle hit brakes on its own, driver and two passengers experienced neck pain. Two vehicles behind both screeched to a halt. There is dash cam video, but won’t let me upload.

Brand new car purchased on July 12, 2023, with 84 miles. In 19 days the car has been in service for 3 days to date, left stranded with all the listed issues. 1.Navigation screen randomly goes blank/black while driving 2.Audio Bluetooth connection randomly not allowing me to hear or be heard by caller 3.Rear AC system is not blowing air, even when front AC is set to lowest setting 4.Cell wireless charging blue light, but there is no actual charging happening 5.USB plugin not actually charging 6.Driver Assist lanes disappearing 7.Auto Drive setting stuck on D2 while driving 8.Acceleration became erratic, to the point where the car would not start 9.Randomly slow to break and accelerate. 10.Average MPG is between 15 and 16 11.Driver's dashboard becomes erratic, and dimly

The vehicle while in cruise set at 70mph accelerated to nearly 90mph and would not disengage even when brake applied, had to turn vehicle off. It has done this twice almost causing an accident. Vehicle has also suddenly applied the brakes very hard while driving approx 55 mph, nothing in front of vehicle. Apparently vehicle was applying the brakes because when we reached home the brake rotors were glowing cherry red. Dealer has looked at it once and said in is probably our pedal getting stuck on the floor mats. I did not have foot on any pedal while in cruise. This last time no check engine light cam on.

-The front and rear camera work intermittently, and yes it is available for inspection upon request. - During the morning, afternoon, or during the night, the package that includes the security that the vehicle has about vision by cameras does not work, putting their own lives and others at risk by not seeing the blind and low spots from the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve 2023, causing a fatal accident. - The has been confirmed by a dealer because me personally and my wife have delivered the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve 2023 with the problem in its maximum expression to the dealer. - The vehicle has been inspected more than eight times, but the dealer technician and Chrysler technician don't know yet how to fix the problem. Non exist any warning lamp, messages, or other symptoms of the problem before the failure.

I bought this Jeep on Sept 2022 and by April my Jeep was already asking me for an oil change. I purchased a lease with 15 miles and in April 07 2023 for my first oil change. I went in to the dealer with 2,807 miles. Now I am noticing from April 7 until todays date I am already at a 25% oil life with a 4,376 miles. It has only been 3 months. I believe there is a default with my oil tank.

It might be comparable to the Jeep recall that is now in effect, except it might be in the front. The noise is coming from the front driver's side and am experiencing the exact same problem. Every time I reverse, do a three-point turn, drive straight, or make a left or right turn. My Jeep produces a cracking sound as though it's ready to break. In addition to hearing it, I can feel it on my feet and steering wheel. I don't feel protected and I do have 2 little girls. When I took it to the dealership, they weren't sure if it was covered by the recall or if it was something else entirely. I drive no faster than 40 to 45 mph out of fear of colliding with someone not drive on the highway.
