On multiple occasions, vehicle screen just go blank, backup camera won’t work, do locks do not work, and forward collision detection not working for a year now after last forced over the air update for Uconnect system. Car has been to dealer multiple times and still no fix for it. Also 4wd system not working properly and vehicle pulls to side even tho alignment is set to factory specs. Also the driver seat module melted and dealer can’t figure out why and wasn’t covered under any type of warrenty

Passenger lumbar support bladder bags blow up in their own causing seat leather to stretch and seat back to pop off. Took to dealership, the whole fuse and/or electrical panel related to passenger seat controls is faulty. This is the second time this has happened to my jeep.

There is an issue with the sensors. While driving for no reason it will break. It’s done it multiple times. While turning left. The sensors have stopped me in front of oncoming traffic. And won’t allow me to proceed forward. There is also an issue while trying to back out of parking spots. There will be nothing behind me. But it will break and not allow me to leave. This is very concerning. I am afraid to drive my vehicle. I’ve taken it into the dealership and they weren’t able to fix it.

The instruments, gauges, and displays will switch into a language I do not speak or understand (Italian). Coinciding with the switch to Italian language, cluster and radio display settings revert back to default settings, auto door locks and paddle shifter becomes inoperative (with no menu to enable), pedestrian emergency brake (peb) lamp or forward collision warning (fcw) lamp turns on with no way to disable, units of measurement including speed, temperature, etc. all change, and many other random settings change as well.

The last forced OTA update we received on the vehicle has been a complete disaster. The build number is [XXX]. It has lit the FCW off light on the dash despite it being selected as on in the settings. It has also disabled the paddle shifters, randomly turns the language on our display to Italian, randomly locks up the UConnect system into an Android Command prompt and causes numerous issues with the radio. The update has also caused the driver's lumbar support to randomly inflate while driving the car. I've searched on many Jeep forums and this appears to be a common issue. My dealer says there is no "recall" yet from Jeep and wants to charge hundreds of dollars to reflash the software. All reports I have found online show that reflashing the software has not worked for others. A small crack in windshield starting at bottom of window on passenger side. No chip or rock strike. Not used in cold weather area. Not used off road. Crack has extended upward now about twelve inches. I live in Las Legas so it does get hot but not so much this year. First noticed as small crack around [XXX], this year. The seat randomly inflated beyond capacity and actually pushed the plastic backing of the seat apart . There is no fail safe that prevented this issue from happening it kept inflating. The seat has a massive bulge in it and there are dozens of threads online that show the same issue happened with the vehicle I have. 2022 , 2023 all in common. I purchased a technology package and am waiting on weather this will be covered and its unlikely. They want me to pay $2100 for a repair and stating mileage since I am past the manufacturer warranty. Its a 3 year old vehicle and mileage has nothing to do with our the seat on its own just blowing up and breaking the seat back. I have kids in the back seat and this is bulged and is happening to many people. Unsafe and expensive and I have no recourse at this point. Pictures below describing the issue

Vehicle stalled out on major highway in 2023, 2024 and 2025. In 2023 and 2024 had vehicle towed to dealership and they could not recreate issue. Then in July 2025 vehicle stalled out and would not start again in major highway and towed again to dealership and they said it was fuel pump issue. This is what should have been detected in 2023 and 2024. I can’t trust the dealer they they will actually fix my vehicle.

Randomly, and without warning, the instruments, gauges, and displays will switch into a language I do not speak or understand (Italian). ***This is clearly a dangerous situation because of all the functions and gauges that change, and the fact it is difficult if not impossible to recover from this due to the language of the setting menus, and the complexity of discovering and navigating through all these changes. I have taken it to the dealer twice, and they say there is nothing they can do and to wait for a possible software update, but none has come and it has been over a year. When this happens, even if one is able to wade through all the settings menus and change setting back, some items cannot be reset (like the FCA off lamp). According to various Jeep owner forums, some dealers have been able to reset something and temporarily correct the issue, but they charge for this service, and the issue returns randomly again. Here is an example forum discussion, indicating many if not all vehicles are affected: [XXX] Many people on the forum believe this issue did not start until a software update a year or so ago. This is a well known and widespread problem, and there is even a DOT Bulletin on the issue: dot.report Bulletins Because this is dangerous (for settings/gauges/units to no longer be useful while driving), and it occurs randomly, I strongly believe this issue should be a manufacturer recall. I am available for any needs. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The contact stated that while diving at various speeds, there was an abnormally loud screeching sound while turning the steering wheel to the left or the right. The sound was intermittent at first but became a consistent failure over time. The failure also occurred while turning and while driving straight. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the driver’s side front suspension strut was leaking, and the lower control arm ball joints had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
