2021 KEYSTONE- Canaan, NH
We received a recall notice for a propane regulator. We contacted Camping World as directed. We made an appointment well in advance to have the part installed at Camping World, North Conway, NH. This location was the closest to where we were vacationing. We interrupted out vacation to have the part installed. I used propane during our vacation. We are now receiving phone calls from the staff at Camping World, North Conway, NH saying that the wrong part was installed and we either need to bring the camper back or pay for the part that was installed plus labor. WHY? We followed the recall notice's instructions. We inquired several times with the service personnel at Camping World, North Conway, NH that the part was in stock and available. We were assured each time we inquired that they had the correct part, and they would be able to accommodate us in a timely manner for installation of the replacement. That the interruption of vacation would be minimal. The service technician at Camping Word, North Conway, NH should have realized that they did not have the correct part. We were very limited in our time for the vacation as well as travelling back to Camping World, North Conway or anywhere else in New Hampshire. We did suggest that they send a Service Technician to our house. We were informed that was not an option. I used the propane during our vacation. Our grandchildren were with us. How much danger did we put them in? We are very upset that we can no longer use the propane in our camper safely. We are also upset that we are receiving voice mails 3 weeks after the part was put in. The person who is leaving the messages is not very polite. We feel that Camping World should send a technician free of charge to our residence to fix their mistake.

2022 KEYSTONE PASSPORT- Stanhope, IA, IA
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The bolts attaching the lower cable pulleys for the living room slide shear off. The damaged components are still in the wall of my camper. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? If they had broken going down the road during the next right hand turn the slide could come out unexpectedly causing collision or roll over of the travel trailer. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? The travel trailer has been repaired on two separate occasions by the authorized selling dealership. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? I called the manufacturer to alert them of this issue and they were not interested. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? There were no warning signs the pulleys will just burst off the walls. My travel trailer has only been used 6 times since being purchased new.
