accumulators begin to leak internally, as they share the same part numbers. Therefore, the actuator will buzz every few seconds trying to keep pressure in the braking system to a safe operating level of gas pressure to no avail due to this leak in the actuator. After it quits buzzing from shutting the car off, you can hear the air leak hissing the pressure away. There are tons and tons of articles on this issue online as this is a major safety concern

On the Saturday (12/21) before Christmas, my hatch door wouldn’t open with the key fob, push button in the vehicle or push button on the door. And the foot under the bumper opener has never worked for me. Anyways, because I couldn’t get my door to open, I ended up loading my groceries in the back seat. When I got home, it still wouldn’t work with the key fob or other buttons. One family member who tried to help me, pushed the door button and it suddenly opened after all the many attempts before. But then it wouldn’t close back. Just like at the store, it made that beeping sound but that it makes when it’s closing or opening, but it wasn’t closing. The next day on Sunday (12/22) I wouldn’t use it because I was afraid if it opened, it wouldn’t close back. The way we were able to get the door to close, was at least I thought it helped, I kept pushing the key fob and the door would allow my family member to manually push the door down a little at a time until it closed. When the door closed completely, we could hear it automatically lock like always. I had a few more Christmas shopping errands and had to leave home again. I got in the car in my driveway and I shut the door and put the car in reverse and suddenly a loud pop and my entire back window shattered completely over into a trillion little pieces. I couldn’t believe it. I’m taking it into the Park Place Lexus dealership in the morning (12/27th) to see if the malfunctioning door is what caused my window to break. I can’t afford to keep replacing the back window over and over if the door is the issue. We taped the back window over so it wouldn’t rain into my vehicle. When we tried to open the door again, it wouldn’t work. So, I had to crawl through broken glass to cover my back window. Terrible experience. I’ve attached photos. On the left and right side of the windows, notice there are two strange holes there. The large hole is I assume where it popped at. My car is under warranty. I hope the dealership covers it

The vehicle is burning engine oil at an increasingly severe rate, with the manual stating that burning 1.1 quarts every 600 miles is normal. This consumption is excessive given the 5.5-quart capacity and the requirement for expensive full synthetic oil, causing frequent and costly top-offs. This poses a safety risk due to the potential for engine damage or failure if oil levels are not closely monitored. Some owners have had the issue inspected, and Lexus has acknowledged the problem. However, they have stated that repairs require replacing components costing multiple thousands of dollars just for parts, leaving many owners without a feasible solution. This problem is widespread, with numerous reports of similar issues in online forums ( [XXX] ]). A thorough investigation and a more customer-friendly resolution are needed to address this design flaw and ensure reliability and safety. I had my vehicle serviced at Westside Lexus on March 20, 2024. My vehicle, a 2022 Lexus 300h F Sport, was brought in for 20,000-mile service, and not only has the issue not been resolved, but it has also led to a dangerous situation that could have resulted in serious and potentially fatal harm. To elaborate, after the service, I noticed that the car did not drive as smoothly nor sound as quiet as normal for my hybrid vehicle. I also heard noise as I entered/exited the driveway, drove over speed bumps, backed up, and exited the vehicle. This noise was similar to my experience after a prior service appointment when I noticed on the highway that my rear passenger tire was wobbly, posing a significant risk to my family’s safety and that of others on the road. As with my previous experience, I heard more noise and what sounded like loose parts after a few weeks. When I checked, my rear passenger tire was loose again. As a 15-year Toyota owner, I trusted Lexus for its reputation for safety, dependability, quality, and customer care, but this experience has shaken my confidence in your brand. For each service appointment, I consent to the recommended services. It is unacceptable for a Lexus service center to return a vehicle in a condition that is unsafe to drive. Here are the details of my service visit: · Service Date: March 20, 2024 · Work Order Number: 687595 · Vehicle Mileage: 20,105 · Description of Service Performed: 20,000-mile service and four-wheel alignment Upon discovering the issue and having Lexus Roadside Assistance tow the vehicle back to the dealership.

Hydraulic brake booster pump abs actuator has been on a service bulletin around 2015 with a definitive timetable. I have had numerous notifications with warning lights that are indicative of the booster pump failure for more than 10 years and every time I bring it to the Lexus dealer they said it is my battery. They replace the battery and reset the computer and it repeats itself over and over. My main concern as this should have been a recall and not a service bulletin; an abs brake failure is a significant defect with possible fatal outcome. The problem has been well documented with numerous Lexus and Toyota customers hybrid vehicles going back to 2005. My vehicle is 2007 Lexus RX 400h with 78,000 miles. I am afraid to drive the vehicle with the issue unresolved.

The power steering and hybrid system failed and vehicle completely stopped in middle of busy freeway with no prior warnings or issues before. The safety of my son and I, and others around me during the abrupt stop of the engine. I could not move out of way. The vehicle has been serviced for this exact issue during a recall campaign lasting from 2011 to 2014. Ten years later and it is still happening! There were NO warning lamps or messages or symptoms prior to this failure. It just passed vehicle inspections for the year

I recently bought this vehicle and the drivers seat height does not raise approropriately. I have brought it to the dealership for them to take a look and they say that’s how it’s designed however the passenger seat height goes much higher. I called Lexus corporate who mentioned there is nothing they can do. I have driven the LX and RX models that do not have this issue. This vehicle is only 1 year old and I believe this is a safety concern. I am unable to see above the hood of the car and I am [XXX].
