As I was driving down road car began to lose power, check engine light came on and car went into limp mode. Car was towed to nearest repair shop where analysis was made. I was advised to take to dealership for repair. Advised that there was a service campaign issued by the manufacturer on GLB class with M260 motors. See attached report. Took car to MB dealer and informed that an update to the ECU was needed but not available at this time. See attached report. Returned home to PA called Mercedes main office Customer service to check warranty and coverage yes it covered once dealer verifies codes. Called NHTSA to report where they verified that the manufacturer had agreed to repair the issue and extended the waranty instead of doing a recall. Was advised to file report online because the dealership is now demanding payment to do the software update. Which was already verified see attached. A rail pressure sensor is a core engine management component that measures fuel pressure in the fuel rail, sends real-time data to the engine computer, and helps regulate fuel delivery. The contact owns a 2015 Mercedes-Benz C300. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact became aware that the panoramic roof failed to close as intended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that the panoramic roof guide rails had failed. The contact was informed that the panoramic roof guide rails needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The contact was informed that the mileage and age of the vehicle had exceeded the limitation. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.

Error code P052E71 on a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC means the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Regulator Valve Performance has a malfunction, specifically that the partial-load ventilation valve actuator is blocked. By research, i found that this is a very common problem on those engines, and no recalls from the company to fix their fault.

The contact owns a 2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 4MATIC. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed and the driveshaft felt loose, with an abnormally loud knocking sound coming from the vehicle. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V216000 (Power Train). The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed the contact that the remedy was not yet available. The failure mileage was approximately 84,000.

Rear subframe rust has deemed the car unsafe to drive. Hitting a pot hole at high speed or any sudden stop could cause the subframe to collapse causing loss of control of car. Car is available for inspection upon request. Car was taken in for regular oil change and multi-point inspection when rust was noticed by mechanic at the dealership. Car is located in East TN not the snow belt. There have been recalls on similar models for the year prior, but this vin is not part of the recall and has same issue, although the number 204 which is part of the recall is stamped on the part. I keep getting coolant level low. I add coolant fluid into the tank and the warning message comes up again. I see no leaks under my vehicle so not sure if there’s a leak inside the tank itself or air leak somewhere but I’ve gotten that warning message about 10 or more times. Also as im driving the blind spot sensor just randomly goes off without a car or anything being next to me.

The vehicle suffered a sudden, catastrophic 48V mild-hybrid electrical power supply breakdown and complete system failure while traveling at highway speeds during a cross-country move. The sudden failure forced an emergency lane change into an isolation zone just off the highway. The sudden failure left the cabin completely powerless with no operational safety systems, hazard lights, or air conditioning in extreme 100+ degree heat. This roadside isolation created an immediate physical hazard and directly inflicted acute heat exhaustion and severe dehydration, requiring a subsequent emergency clinical medical evaluation on July 5 for lingering environmental exposure symptoms. Subsequent forensic diagnostics performed at an authorized secondary dealership (Mercedes-Benz of North Scottsdale) captured digital video evidence of active, high-voltage 48V electrical arcing across a completely loose, un-torqued main grounding network connection left by a prior repair facility (Mercedes-Benz of Syracuse) during a major warranty engine removal repair just 7 days prior. Secondary dealer diagnostics officially logged this internal structural failure under factory tracking as Damage Code 5482G388. The loose connection created an active, immediate thermal and fire hazard capable of igniting nearby fuel or fluid lines. The original repairing facility deflected liability, claiming the high-voltage ground studs 'loosen due to many reasons' on an asset with no prior electrical faults. This creates a severe ongoing fire, thermal, and crash risk for this model year's 48V electrical system architecture.

The contact owns a 2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE43. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the radio screen went blank. The dealer was contacted and informed the contact that there was no recall on the VIN associated with the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.

Without an impact or collision, my car's passenger seat headrest shot out. I've been checking and others have done this as well. This morning, the driver's side headrest shot out without impact or collision. There is something wrong with the mechanism or airbags for the headrests. This can be extremely dangerous when in motion....

While I was driving the vehicle on the freeway there a single popping noise that sounded to be below the vehicle. Immediately after there was a big trail of white smoke coming from beneath the vehicle. When I was able to pull over and got out of the vehicle there were flames visible and the fire quickly grew.
