The contact owned a 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQE 320+. The contact stated that while driving forward into the parking space and depressing the brake pedal, the transmission was shifted from park to drive to move up in the parking space, and the vehicle unintendedly accelerated over the curb. After stopping the vehicle, the contact shifted to reverse to back into the parking space. The vehicle suddenly accelerated and drove across the parking lot, and crashed into a parked vehicle. The contact shifted to drive (D), and the vehicle unintentionally accelerated, drove across the parking lot, over the curb, and crashed into a concrete column of a four-story apartment building. During the crash, the air bag deployed, and the contact was knocked unconscious. The contact sustained a concussion and neck injury, left hip injury, and was rushed to the hospital. A Police report was filed at the scene, and the vehicle was deemed destroyed and towed away. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,300.

In addition, the contact stated that the warning lights turned off one after the other and the instrument cluster independently powered off. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 89,669.

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V073000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The dealer was contacted. The contact was concerned that the manufacturer provided limited safety risk information and that the vehicle could catch on fire during a crash. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was contacted several times about the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

The contact owns a 2014 Mercedes-Benz GLK350. The contact stated that there was an abnormal fuel odor inside and outside vehicle. The check engine, TPMS, and several other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

I am reporting a severe drivability and engine failure issue with my vehicle. The vehicle has been exclusively maintained by authorized Mercedes-Benz service centers. Immediately following a scheduled 60,000-mile (Schedule B/C) maintenance, the Check Engine Light began cycling on and off. The vehicle simultaneously developed severe drivability symptoms: the engine ran extremely rough, and acceleration became erratic and "jumpy." This unpredictable power delivery and hesitation poses a significant safety hazard when accelerating or merging in traffic. I immediately returned the vehicle to the service center to report the issue. The dealership has now retained my vehicle for over 20 days and diagnosed that the cylinder head requires complete replacement. Despite this catastrophic failure occurring immediately after their maintenance procedures, the dealership is holding me financially responsible for the repair costs because the vehicle is past the 4-year/50,000-mile warranty. My vehicle remains immobilized at the dealership."

Frequently, when I started the car, the instrument cluster's monochrome display will stay blank/black or display completely corrupted garbage - unreadable bit and pieces. I wasn't able to read essential info like level of drive gear and fuel level etc. Often when this happens, the physical speedometer pointers won't settle on accurate current speed level, but keep cycling: from 0 spin to some value and then reset back to 0 and spin to some value ... This makes driving risky as I am not able to see accurate driving speed!

I made a left turn and the rear passenger side axle broke. I didn’t hit anything.

Digital Instrument cluster screen has gone black 3 times since October 2025 making it impossible to see speed or other important driving safety information. Black out happened in October 2025, March 2026, and again on July 9, 2026. Screen eventually comes back after vehicle sits unused for several hours.
