While driving a 2019 Ram I heard a winding noise then a rattling noise. I went immediately to the mechanic. He said it was my E-torque generator. He said I was lucky to get there because I could have had a complete loss of power or could have damaged other parts of the vehicle. A loss of power could be very dangerous on the highway possibly causing an accident or leaving me on the side of the highway exposing me to traffic driving by at 70mph+. The mechanic cannot get the replacement from RAM. Ram is not making them right now. There are over 5000 on back order. That means there are over 5000 people making payments on a work truck they can't use. Some people have been waiting for nearly a year.

The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated the "Service Park Brake" light was illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V653000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic, Electronic Stability Control (ESC). The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the software update was performed. The contact stated that days after the recall repair, while starting the vehicle, the same warning illuminated. After starting the vehicle, the manual brake automatically engaged and failed to release, making it difficult to move the gear shifter to park. The contact restarted the vehicle several times before being able to move the gear shifter. The TPMS warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was returned to the dealer, who diagnosed that the ABS module had failed and needed to be replaced due to the software update failing to fix the vehicle. The ABS module was replaced; however, the ABS warning light illuminated, and other repairs were needed. The ABS module was replaced twice. There were no additional repairs completed. The vehicle remained at the dealer for 7 weeks. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 103,000.

The power folding mirrors have plastic gears in them that strip out. Once the gears are stripped out the mirrors are loose and can fold in while traveling due to the wind.

Cannot put gas in tank without the gas pump continuously shutting off the flow. Was told by Dodge technicians that it was a faulty roll-over valve ( believe this is a safety item ) in the gas tank. Was told the only way to fix it is to replace the gas tank. They have had other dodge trucks in for the same problem. Being this is a safety item ( keeps gas from spilling out during a roll-over accident) I would think there should be a recall to repair. If possible could you also give me information on how to contact Dodge headquarters to register a complaint. This is a 1600.00 fix that I feel I should not be held responsible for. There are no warning lights accompanying this. Techs at JOHNSONS AND SONS dodge dealer in Wis. Rapids, WI. have recommended replacement to fix the problem. Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter it is appreciated.

Diagnosed brakes at repair shop and advised ABS Module failing. Saw online recalls for certain vehicles yet our 2019 has the issue and nothing was noted for recall. I have 4 daughters and our safety and the safety of others is at risk with a faulty system, The lights on the dash appeared a few days ago and went away and now have come back and have stayed on.
