2019 RAM 1500- Tucson, AZ
Air bag light came on in the instrument panel. I took it to the dealership along with oil change. They scanned the airbag problem and it came back that the passenger front seatbelt had open circuit. My vehicle is not part of the current recall for this issue. I want to let you know that my build of my vehicle should fall under the current recall for the ongoing build dates with this issue.

The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact had read about steering recalls on the year, make, and model of the vehicle online. The "Generator Kit" which houses the vehicles alternator went bad. I have been waiting for more than 4 weeks for the repair to be done and the shop has no idea when the part will arrive. It is Generator Kit #68623194AB. I reached directly out to 12 dealers and none of them give me any idea of when they can get the part and have a waiting list themselves. The web is lighting up with thousands of complaints about this single issue. One dealer said they have no idea when the part will show up and they've already been waiting for "6" MONTHS. They said it could honestly be another 6 months. For an alternator??? RAM Trucks has a major issue here and they have known about it for a while.
