2020 RAM 1500 Complaints

Hi, we own a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500. Went to drive our truck during a snow storm. The driver's side wiper arm stripped its splines. Dealership says tough luck. You're on your own. A 2020 Dodge Truck. This is ridiculous. We have 2 small kids, and can't drive our new truck when it rains. Never heard of a new vehicle stripping the splines of a wiper arm, because of ice and snow. No one ever touched the wiper arm. We used remote start to warm up the vehicle, only to find out the arm was stripped when we tried to drive it. I've owned many vehicles, never had this happen before. No one I've talked with, has had this happen, even in the worst weather conditions. This is a Major flaw, and a huge safety issue. Thank you. UNKNOWN - Auto shut off on fuel dispenser happens almost immediately when filling tank as normal process. Have to slow to a trickle so it does not kick out & it takes 20x amount of time to fill tank than normal. Research is finding many owners of this vehicle with same issue. OEM needs to take action to correct as there is an obvious defect.

Rear window leaking, just like on all the 5th gen rams. Causing water to get into the cab, causing mold, mildew, rot and moisture on the windows. Please create a recall this is affecting almost every single 5th gen ram

The contact owns a 2020 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal sound coming from the engine compartment. The vehicle then returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 69,000.

The contact owns a 2020 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the contact heard a loud booming sound. The contact stopped to inspect the vehicle, and it was discovered that the driver's side rear glass window panel had exploded outward causing chards of glass to enter the vehicle. The contact stated that during failure the rear defroster was activated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who replaced the driver's side rear glass window panel. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 30,000. The VIN was not available.

My tailgate opened during a 20 mile drive, much of it on interstate, while I had golf club bags in travel cases in the pickup bed. One of the cases unknowingly fell out onto the road. Fortunately this road was near my home and low speed, 2 lane. Someone stopped and picked them up since they saw them in the road. I am uncertain if my son just didn't properly latch the tailgate or if it came open after being latched but my primary issue here is that there is no warning light in my truck to warn me if my tailgate is open. Had there been I would have pulled over to close and latch it.

I was in an accident with my 2020 Ram 1500 and took a couple horrible hits and the airbags never deployed and the end result was me getting hurt bad and now missing time at work over this incident.

I HAVE CONTACTED DEALER SEVERAL TIMES WITH THIS RECALL AND WAS TOLD THE REPAIR PARTS ARE NOT BEING MADE AVAILABLE TO THEM. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS RECALL CAN BECOME DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE FIXED. ALSO, NOTED ON RECALL FORM THAT STATE MAYNOT RENEW REGISTRATION IF THIS RECALL IS NOT FIXED. NO INCIDENT HAS OCCURRED. THE ABO

Abs and tracking control lights come on and “service electronic brake system” when on, cruise control not functional and traction control off very dangerous as I did more research it is a very common occurrence for Dodge Ram truck 2017-2021 please help us

The sun visors unexpectedly drop out of there sockets impeding the drivers ability to see abruptly. This is obviously dangerous. They are defective and this has been reported on RAM forums to no avail.
