2019 RAM 1500- Makawao, HI
2019 Doge ram 1500 quad cab- the engine completely and immediately froze up and locked all tires in the middle of a busy 2 lane street- sounded like only 2 of the 8 pistons were barely firing, was told my engine was "toast-it sucked a valve"! I am an old school mechanic so I take care of every aspect of my truck regularly by professional mechanics- how can a truck not even 5 yrs old with payments still owed have so many issues and now if completely trash? In addition, I have had computer issues, rear camera issues, the side mirror just fell off on its own.....so many issues with this model. How can a dealership and a manufacturer legally sell such a piece of junk? Is there any recourse? Law suit- class action or individual ? I am deseperate for help- I was nearly killed on this street when it all happened- the engine completely died-battery drained-back tires locked up all in an instant while driving 30 mph.

The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated while decelerating to come to a stop or to make a turn, the transmission shifted out of gear unexpectedly. My 2019 Ram 1500 Classic came with the optional 20" tires and rims. Had a flat and when the spare was taken down it was only a 18" not a 20". This spare should match the other wheels and tires to drive safely. Yes Rams can come with 17" or 18" but when you upgrade with the option should the spare be as well. This is a recall on other Rams but not mine, please look into this.

My 2019 ram classic 1500 Lonestar. I had to hit my brakes firmly to avoid an accident and my truck went into a skid. The brake pedal went all the way to the floor. I limped the truck to my mechanic and after they diagnosed it, they said my ABS module failed and is now leaking brake fluid. he contacted the dealership and they refused to sell the new ABS module to anyone because they have recognized. There is a problem with the current 1 and it is being re-engineered at a later date. So I had to buy a used one and had my mechanic install it And now I have another faulty ABS module on my truck and I am worried if I get into a situation that I have to hit my brakes hard I am going to skid again and possibly get into an accident causing bodily harm or fatality. I called myself and they said they cannot sell it to anyone at this time.

The parksense system on the vehicle becomes defective over time. My vehicle does not have parking assistance but I get a chime and screen message that "parksense unavailable" every minute or two when driving. There is also a "service shifter" warning simultaneously. I've taken it a dealer for repair several times and they're unable to address it. Upon searching forums for this issue I found it's unbelievably common. Ram has been unable to repair this issue for ~a year of it happening.

Around 40,000 miles, the digital display on the information cluster of my 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn started to go blank intermittently. Sometimes for long periods, sometimes for only a few minutes. Over time the display would only work once a week. Now at just over 50,000 the information will not display at all. Occasionally I would hear a tone, but because the display is blank I am unable to know what the tone was in regards to. It may have been something safety related or just low fuel or something else minor. It has not been looked at by the dealer. At my last visit to the dealer I asked about it and was simply told it was around $1,300 to replace. No other inspections by any other entity. No warnings prior to each failure.
