My windshield wiper speed slowed down then stopped in the middle of my windshield and stop working completely when it was raining. I had to pull over and wait for the rain to stop so I wouldn't cause an accident. I know there is a recall on the ram 2500 and 3500 hundred. I was wondering if the recall expanded to 1500 built around the same time?

Vehicle developed the infamous "hemi tick" chronicled in multiple news articles, bulletins & complaints. Defective exhaust manifold design causes it to trap heat, melting the bolts and cracking the manifolds. This leads to loud ticking when engine is started from cold and can eventually lead to engine failure. Had to have both manifolds replaced, along with gaskets.

Recall 44A I contacted Promaster Case Management Case # [XXX] Their reply was that I go to Wilson Motors 425 N W Buchanan Corvallis, OR 97330, a 5 hour, 14 minute round trip, of 246 miles. I live in a population of approximately 26,000+ people. This is wholly unacceptable when there are 5 dealerships who sell Ram vehicles (2 much closer) closer to my location. A major auto manufacturer should not be selling vehicle for which they don't provide reasonable service for in a populated area such as the ORegon coast. I closed my tailgate and it sounded like it latched, but I got a warning as soon as I pulled out on the road that my tailgate was open. I pulled over but it still looked closed and didn’t fall when I pulled on it. I went to open the tailgate to try to shut it again but it wouldn’t open. I unlocked the car a few times and it still wouldn’t open. I had to push really hard and then pull the latch and it finally clicked and opened. Sometimes intermittently on the highway it will tell me my tailgate is not closed. This is a safety issue because if the tailgate opens while I’m driving down the highway and my bed load slides out it could harm someone else behind me.
