The component that failed in my 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 is the fuel system. The warning light that came across my screen indicated that it was the "exhaust". The vehicle abruptly went from 75 miles an hour to 25 mph to eventually stalling. At the time there was no engine light that illuminated my screen; It simply stated service exhaust. My safety and others around me were put at risk due to the sudden breakdown while traveling on a highway through the rocky mountains. I was fortunate enough to act quickly to avoid any possible danger to myself and others around me by quickly maneuvering my vehicle to the shoulder of the highway. Yes, a Dodge mechanic found fault in the fuel system, I have paperwork that indicates the malfunction with the vehicle's fuel system. The mechanic found metal shavings in my fuel filters replaced them and told me I was good to proceed on my route. He asserted that since the metal shavings didn't go past my fuel filters I have nothing to worry about. He also stated there's no remedy at this moment to fix the problem. The manufacturer hasn't taken action to fix their own recall. I am at a loss, my vehicle has sat at the dealership since April 12th, 2022.

The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the front passenger’s side tire started to shake. The contact stated that he pulled over and changed the tire. The tire was taken to a tire shop where the mechanic diagnosed the failure as a separated tread belt causing a bulge in the tire. LT235/R80/17 NEXEN HTX RH5. Belt broke on left front 4/7/2022 @ 32,000 miles. On 5/31/2022 the left front belt broke at 34000 miles.

Vehicle Exhaust System Failure See Dealer warning displayed with truck becoming sluggish and shutting down on road, very likely causing accidents. It’s scary. Got to a parking lot, shut off, cranked, warning went away, but for how long and what damage will Result in driving if warning comes back on?

Both front tires inner belts separated causing the vehicle to become underivable at 55 mph. The vehicle shook causing the steering wheel to radically move side to side. Took vehicle to dealer for service. Found both front tires to be defective at 29000 miles for inner belts separating from the tire.

Tailgate keeps dropping and unlatching. Have taken the truck multiple times. Dealer Larson Ram Puyallup has replaced tailgate latch once but tailgate still unlatches and drops intermittently both parked and while vehicle is in motion. Have called them multiple times but they concluded that they could not replicate issue when truck is in the shop.
