2002 SUZUKI SV650- SAN FRANCISCO, CA
2002 SV650, ~37,000 MILES ENGINE BEGAN MAKING LOUD KNOCKING NOISE. TRIED TO LIMP HOME BUT ENGINE SEIZED A FEW MILES LATER. BELIEVE THE CON ROD BEARINGS FAILED. THIS IS KNOWN ISSUE WITH SV650 MOTORCYCLES AS THERE IS AN OIL STARVATION PROBLEM. BIKE WAS NOT WHEELIED OR OTHERWISE MISTREATED. *NM
