The contact waited for 20 minutes to restart the motorcycle however, the failure recurred. There was no warning light illuminated. The speedometer is 5-7 mph off … it’s registering fast. I feel this is a safety issue and it also adds mileage to the motorcycle. I have contacted the dealer and my concerns fall on deaf ears! I have also sent a email to Triumph USA … no response as yet.

Massive rear brake failure. Known on the forums to be a common issue not remedied by the manufacturer. Rear brake pedal goes to the floor with no brake engaging. Vehicle available for inspection. Dealers won't cover the repair due to no recall issued. No audible or visual warnings of the malfunction before, during or after the occurrence. The occurrence is not isolated. It is a constant issue. No brakes!

2018 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE BOBBER- Beaverton , OR
1.) I would like to begin by saying that my bike is nearly brand new. Only just over 4k miles. So, the following problem is not in any way a result of the bike being an old or beaten down vehicle. The rear brake light and turn signals failed due to the cable that runs under the rear fender to the rear lights (being suspended by very weak and half attached thin metal tabs) becoming dislodged from their incredibly suspect holding tabs and rubbing on the tire. Thus, stripping and destroying the cable. This is available for inspection upon request. The way the cable is attached is the crux of the complaint I am making. It is unfathomable how this could have not only been designed in the first place, but then approved for production. 2.) If the tire had gotten hold of the cable and ripped it from the bike I could have been thrown from the bike and killed. This is an incredibly unsafe and extremely poorly designed portion of the bike. In addition to the feature having the ability to kill any rider it also has resulted in the lights not working. Not having brake lights or turn signals in the rear can result in other drivers not knowing what you are doing and causing an accident. 3.) To my knowledge this problem has not been addressed in any way by the manufacturer or any other person. I am currently waiting for an upcoming appointment with the dealer to address this issue. 4.) There was no warning of the possibility of this issue. One moment it works perfectly fine, next it is sent into catastrophic failure. Luckly in my case I was uninjured, and the cable was only stripped and frayed and did not get grabbed by the tire. Conclusion This problem is insanely dangerous and can result in death. This feature is so irresponsible and poorly designed it bogles the mind. How Triumph can get away with this without a recall is utterly monstrous. There is no reason for this poor design other than to have it fail on purpose or a complete disregard for any concept of safety.

2022 TRIUMPH TIGER SPORT- Thomaston, CT
Motorcycle Shutting down on deceleration. This problem happens when decelerating with the clutch pulled in and shifting from second to first gear. It happens inconsistently and with no discernible Rhyme or Reason. I've been unable to replicate this or determine a set of variables other than second to first gear. Your form requires an incident date but this is something that has happened to me several dozen times.

Intermittently, the engine will stall when coming to a stop while the clutch is disengaged. This is unpredictable and dangerous when it occurs at an intersection or on sloped pavement. The issue drastically increased in frequency when I traveled to an are at a higher altitude.

2018 TRIUMPH STREET SCRAMBLER- SAN FRANCISCO, CA
My front brake is very spongy. I can pull the lever all the way to the bar and the bike will slow, but not nearly enough for hard braking or an emergency situation. Yes, it is available for inspection. My safety, and my passengers safety is at risk from not being able to stop in an appropriate amount of time or distance. Yes, it has been confirmed. We have tried bleeding the brakes on 2 occasions. Both times an ABS bleed and manual bleed was performed. No lamps or other symptoms have been observed, the issue has been present since I have owned the bike.

Bike stalls while downshifting. Triumph covered the fix of the map sensor under warranty. A couple months later the bike has redeveloped the same issue. It stalls while downshifting. This is a potentially severe scenario for me as the driver in traffic, and potentially for others if an accident causes follow-on crashes.
