FORD Recalls

Oct 10, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain engine block heaters, with part number number JL3T-6A051-AB. These parts were sold as accessories for certain 2023-2026 Ford vehicles equipped with a 1.5L or 2.0L Modular Power Cylinder (MPC) engine. The engine block heater may overheat when the vehicle is parked with the block heater plugged in.

Oct 10, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain engine block heaters, with part numbers GJ7Z-6A051-BA and GJ7Z-6A051-AA, sold as accessory parts. The engine block heater may crack and develop a coolant leak, causing it to short circuit when the block heater is plugged in.

Oct 09, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Ranger vehicles. The instrument panel top cover may prevent the passenger air bag from deploying as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Sep 19, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2021 F-250, F-350, and F-450 vehicles. The steering column upper shaft may detach from the steering column and result in a loss of steering control.

Sep 19, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. A short circuit within the battery junction box can cause an engine fire while driving or parked.

Sep 18, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Transit vehicles repaired incorrectly under recall numbers 24V226 and 24V591. An incorrect steering coupler cover and tires that were not designed for the vehicle may have been installed during a previous repair.

Sep 12, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Taurus vehicles. The driver and front passenger B-Pillar door trim may detach while driving.

Sep 12, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Mustang vehicles. Water and road salt may corrode the front seat belt anchor pretensioner cables.

Sep 11, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2024 Bronco and Ranger vehicles. The bolts securing the high pressure fuel pump may not be tightened properly, which can result in a fuel leak.

Sep 03, 2025 – Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.
